Does anyone have a recommendation for doggie doors.  I know what I want in a door but thought someone out there might recommend a good brand.  I want an insulated, double flapped door that resists letting wind and cold in.

We have a set from Lowes. The one on the extier door has already seen better days. After 3 years One point you need to know. Our dogs like to bring in stuff. 5 possoms, 2ground hogs, all dead various sticks and rocks, also stuff goes out that they find to go play with. That being said, pet doors are great.

this one looks good. My parents dog door is single flap but it has an insulating partial outside flap. We have had it for at least 15 years and only one corner is now duct taped. I'm sure they don't make this type anymore and I don't know the brand, but it may be worth just going to petsmart or lowes or home depot and check out the different kinds they have now.

Went to Home Depot and bought a new  (screen) door and then to Petsmart and got the doggie door. Dont know if they had more than one brand or not, they did have different sizes.
