Absolutely adorable and sweet male corgi showed up on our farm a week ago with no collar and no ID. Haven't been able to locate his owner. We have a female corgi and are completely willing and able to keep him, but if someone is looking for him, I want to get him back to his rightful home.

He's so cute! I love it when Pembrokes still have their tails!

He's so cute!!  It must be fate..:-)  I think God brings animals to us that He knows we will give a good home to, and take good care of.  I think it's kinda weird a corgi came to you, when you already have corgi's.  It's just not a common breed.  Definitely fate.

I tend to agree. An animal tech friend of mine used to say that God gives animals with problems to the people He knows will care for them. She had German Shepherds for years and dealt with bloat and dysplasia and allergies, etc. She decided to get a corgi and lo and behold he had dysplasia too. They always got the best of care though and lived long happy lives.

I had two dogs that had seizures, and then--no kidding--bought my kids a hamster to replace the one the dog ate--and out of all 600 in the store, I picked the one that had seizures.  My husband wouldn't let me put it on phenobarbitol though...the vet thought I was crazy!  But all of the rescues I have had, had some illness or injury that we'll have no problem dealing with.  Seanna tore her ACL, and then not three months after we had taken Jackson in, found out he had a torn ACL that never got repaired.  (He was from a puppy mill).  So we already knew what therapy he needed, and meds and such.  I totally believe that God brings them to us for special reasons....:-)
