Yesterday I went up to a place called Apple Hill to get my Christmas tree. Its a coilation of about 50+ farmers and wine makers that open shop and sell their goods from October until December. Lots of people and most of the shops and stores are dog friendly. Franklin got to be oogled by about a billion people and was in heaven the whole day. Our last stop was a Christmas tree farm where they ended up having a Santa there. Frank has never met anyone in full costume, at first he was a bit scared and wouldn't let Santa pet him but I had Santa give him a few treats and Frank warmed right up to him and, as my friend said, "Santa got his picture taken with Franklin!"

I was so proud of him. I haven't had him around large crowds for a while and he was so perfectly behaved. He would sit politely for pets and when kids came over would flop on his back for belly rubs then get up and ever so gently give the kids licks on the face. So cute!
