We are picking up our 8-week-old Pembroke puppy in two days. :) I'm one of those who has wanted a dog all my life and finally (at 23) have the space & resources for it. I've done tons of research, read a stack of books, and BF and I had lots of fun doing "new puppy shopping," but now that we're actually getting down to the wire, I am so nervous! I feel ridiculous, but I can't stop worrying about every little thing that could possibly go wrong. Does anyone have any words of wisdom/advice on what to expect during the first few days?

This is Bella! The breeder sent us this picture when she was 6 weeks old.

Expect cuteness overload on day 1 and beyond when you get Bella!

Here's a tip: keep a close eye on her at all times. Puppies have really weak bladders, so they need to be taken out every 1/2 hour or every hour. And make sure to teach them what to chew on and what not to chew on.

Just apply what you have read/learned from your research, and you'll be fine. Whenever you have a question, refer back to this site!
Bella, what a wonderful name and such a cutie pie, look at her. You will be absolutely fine and will be rewarded with years and years of love from that little bundle of fur.
