How to select a doggie door for a Corgi?

Hey everyone!

What size doggie door is appropriate for a PW Corgi? We are moving into a house and were thinking about installing a doggie door so that Colby can go out and come in as he pleases. What do y'all use?

Do you plan to have bigger dogs in the future? If not, a medium size will do. Make sure you pick the ones that can be locked. Down here in Florida, we've had gators and thief who tried to come in via the doggie doors. No joke, it was on the news :)

We have a medium doggy door, with a cover and it locks, unfortunately it is rather noisy and is in the lounge, so at 7.30pm or the mad hour it can drive us mad when they run in and out and in and out lol.
Reggie took to it right away Archie had to be persuaded with some treats but they both love it now.
