Where would i go on line to keep track of this or see about stopping something before it gets going here in New Mexico? Would it be State web sight, if so what area would i look in to find out what is being planned? Thanks for the heads up on this the City has already done something along this line and the only people who will abide by these laws are those who already took care of their animals. it does nothing what so ever towards over population, cruelty, or dog fighting. They need to enforce the laws already on the books for that type of thing. But once again those with no human voice do not get heard.
I agree..inforce whats already there and take it case for case not a generalization to control those who are already abiding. The NAIA, National Animal Interest Alliance, is a great site. http://www.naiaonline.org or google for your state...canine legislation groups...and you should come up w/some in the area and even your national groups to be aware of what is going on in other states since if it happens in one, it'll be coming to your parts as well. Fight for the ones out of state to prevent from ever coming to your parts. Its more then just a local issue.
