Looking for a Young OR Puppie corgi In Washington state area..

Hello I'm Melanie. I am looking to get a a Young OR even a Puppy. I've been looking for a long time to get a corgi. but no one ever has any in my area. the closes breed that i can find in my state.. is OUT of state.. in Oregon. Witch isnt too far. but they are 800$ & i think thats alot to make 2 trips If not more... so im trying to either find someone that has pup Closer to me OR even to adopted a young pup. I just need to know if i adopted one that they are good with kids, I have a One year old son. I have a huge yard and i take my son for a walk every day its nice out side. so she would get lots of exercise.
Im looking to get a female if i can... and a blonde one or red is fine. if you have any info on where i can get a corgi OR know a local breeder i can call/email please feel free to let me know. I know of the cascade Pembroke welsh corgi club & i emailed all the breeders on there.. None of them but the one in Oregon have pups. so if you know any other breeders in the Washington state area That would be AWESOME. lol

Consider googling the corgi rescues. They usually have great dogs, and sometimes younger dogs, as well. A couple of ours came through corgi rescue and they're awesome!

You could try puppyfind.com

If you go to www.pembrokecorgi.com and go to the link for breeder referrel it will show you what breeders are available in your state. You could write to these breeders and see if they have any available. I looked up Washington state at the following link and there were quite a few breeders listed.

The breeder I selected in Dallas, Oregon was $500-$600. She was very open about her litter schedules and pets' health history and if you were willing to wait mere months you could have a healthy baby corgi for less than $800. I could provide contact info if you're at all interested.
