Looking for a young (preferrably puppy) corgi (hopefully tri-color) in PA, NJ, NY, DE, or MD

My faithful companion for 15 years crossed the rainbow bridge this past April and I am now ready for a new companion. Seems corgi puppies have become very expensive the past few years and $800+ is a little difficult for me to afford right now with college for my daughter just two years away. If anyone knows of any rescues, I would appreciate the referral. We live in Eastern PA so can get to many of the Eastern states easily. My daughter hasn't had the puppy experience yet, Cocoa was a year old when we bought her from a show kennel and my daughter was only one year old so we really would enjoy a puppy this time around. I don't work right now, just taking on-line classes so I have lots of time for housebreaking and training. We live on 8 1/2 acres with two horses and 3 cats. My only daughter is 16 so no small children to worry about. Thanks so much for your help.

Hi Randi.
You should check out petfinder.com and craigslist.org. I always see corgis needing rescue in my area. Maybe you can rescue a corgi and need and give it a truly amazing life! I got my corgi from a high kill shelter right before she was about to be put down! I'm sure your new corgi would be forever grateful. :)
