Nope. And I can't imagine a purebred corgi smaller than they already are!
Again..I agree. As I had said earlier to you Renee...bad breeding. I was a sucker a long time ago over one and was shocked. The head is like a chihuahua and atleast mine seemed to act like one as well. Though I was out the money I gave her to a loving forever home that I can still visit her or they bring her to me for visits.

Just a couple of examples. I believe she never got any heavier then 15-18 lbs.
Chloe is 17lbs. She does not act like a chihuahua at all, nor does she look like one. She acts/looks like a corgi.
The pictures you posted does not look like a chihuahua at all! It looks like a corgi! "mini" corgis is just another way to say a corgi on the smaller side. Corgis can get VERY big, our handyman corgi came over and he is huge! He weighed over 30lbs as well. Buying a corgi or mini corgi, they are both corgis and sometimes the smaller dog fits your lifestyle much better. Since Chloe is small enough, she is even coming under the seat to Florida with us.
This individual Renee is speaking of is using the excuse that by him breeding these smaller Corgis he is eliminating alot of the health issues the standard Corgi has. (snickers)
Debbie, I'd rather not say. It does have professional breeder on it. Thats one of the reasons I asked. Pros should know this kind of thing. He does have a web site. The whole thing is odd.
This individual does have a website which I did go to and his dogs as far as height were w/in the standard. It was the weight that is so below the ideal.

I did the same thing and googled for Mini Corgis to find any statistics and genetics on the dog and couldn't find anything except advertising for them. He is charging 500-750.00 for his pups and has an advertisement on www.puppyfind.com w/asking price of $750. YIKES?

As far as the registered AKC breeder or vet...it does exist BUT..doesn't mean squat!!!! All it is they are listed w/AKC but AKC holds no guarantees w/them. With the AKC reg. vet...when you register your puppy you get a free exam visit w/one of these vets they have registered with them. Doesn't mean the vet nor a breeder is above any of the others.
Yes..exactly..that is a much better way of putting it.
I agree with Debbie. Breeds have standards for a reason. If you are looking at a runt from a litter, that's one thing. A dog bred to be small? That's another.
Thanks guys. I wasn't going to get one. A guy on another site says he breeds them. I had never heard of them so I asked.
Your question will help others to learn.
Point taken regarding runt. I guess when I think of a runt, I don't get that picture in my head. I think of a smaller puppy/dog. I will refrain from using it in the future. Thank you for pointing that out.
LOL! What a notion! When Theo was a puppy I had more than one person ask me if he was a miniature Corgi. *sigh* The times we live in...
