Thinking of finding a new forever home for Loki (4& 1/2 Year old male Corgi)

Let me start by saying it kills me to even think about finding Loki a new home. I have had him since I was out of high school. He is now 4& 1/2 years old (will be 5 in August 2012). There has been a lot of changes in my life that have brought me to consider this option. I work in my hometown during the summer with the forest service. So sometimes I end up staying at my parents house a few days a week instead of making the drive out to my cabin (about 45 minutes from work). My parents have always welcomed Loki and I to stay at their house during the summer and even babysit loki if I have to travel for work. Recentlly My parents got a new puppy to replace a dog who passed. Loki HATES this new dog. He is always growling through the puppy gate and we cannot even let them in the same room together. My other Cogi Bindi (who Loki tolerates...sometimes) LOVES the new puppy and they could play all day. This situation leaves Loki kenneled in a seperate room whenever I come to visit. Its just sad. Recentlly my parents told me they cannot babysit loki this summer because he is way too aggressive tward the other dogs and they dont need that kind of stress for weeks at a time while I travel. Loki has recentlly become agressive tward Bindi too, esspecially when we are at my parents, but its getting worse. I think mostly he is trying to protect me from the other dogs- he is just plain jealous and stressed in this situation. The thing is Loki LOVES people. He would love to do nothing more than to lay on his back and chill out with you on the couch. He is a big teddy bear and loves to be pet and cuddled. He is way too good of a dog to have to stress out about these other dogs or compete for his owners love. Let me tell you a little more about Loki.

He is very calm in the house and loves to just lay by your side or in his bed. He ADORES people. He loves to play ball outside (he is the lab of all cogis). He even swims after it in the water. He likes short walks (a miles or two) but gets tired out after that. 100% potty trained. Has NEVER had an accident in the house since he was a baby and he knows all the basic comands (sit+down+etc.) He loves Car rides and knows how to "Load up" (get in the car) and stays in his kennel very well with no barking or whining.  He IS a food hog so he get a serving in the morning and night and is not allowed to have chew bones or rawhide bones because he get grumpy when people come close ( he thinks they want to steal it from him) So its better if he just doesnt have them. He does not like anyone trying to take his food. He is fine with cats - he has never tryed to harm or chase our cat. He also has spent time around horses and live stock and baby chickens and loves them. But NO dogs.
He does well with baths and brushing and will even let you blow dry him. haha. He does not like his claws trimmed though. All shots, he is fixed and other than being a little chunk corgi he is very healthy. LOVES kids too. My ideal home would be somewhere with a fenced yard or a farm setting. He must be the only dog no question. Someone who has time to play ball or take him on walks everyday. And of course someone who needs a faithful companion. He needs a person or a couple of people to cuddle with and be petted by. Although he loves kids to death and I trust him 99% around children there is still that food aggressive side to him and I would never want to see him growl or worse to a child. If you know anyone who Loki might be a good fit for please get back to me through this website, I would appreciate it so much.

Thanks
