Hi, my boyfriend and I and our two dogs are going on a trip and I was looking for tips on what I need to pack for them (outside of the standard food and food bowls and towels for them.) We are going to the beach to introduce Freya to a bigger world. It's going to be about a 4 hour trip. Any tips or advice would be great! Thank you!

Bowls, snacks, water, toys, bags, whatever they normally use when in the car such as seat harness or crates and if you have a doggy first aid kit put together I would bring that as well. And don't forget your camera so you can show us how much fun they have at the beach. :)
Man, I wish I could put them in crates during the trip. I need to get one dog a harness instead. I so wish I bought an Suv now. Thanks for the tip Alice:D.
My husband and I both have small cars too so when we take Finnigan places he sits on a towel in the back with a leash that snaps into the seat belt. You can attach it to a collar or harness but I think the harness is safer in case you have to slam on the brakes.

Good luck! I'm sure you guys will have a blast. :)
MY TWO HAVE PETRIFIED BONES THAT WE TAKE....IT OCCUPIES THEM FOR HOURS......THEY ALSO LOVE THEIR TENNIS BALLS. PS TAKE THEIR SHAMPOO - WE WENT TO A DOG FRIENDLY BEACH AND THEY WERE NEEDING A LITTLE FRESHING UP AFTER THAT.HAHAHAHAHA HAVE A GREAT TRIP!
Our fuel-efficient Saturn station wagon is crowded with 2 dog crates, so when we go on trips/picnics, we pack all the food inside the crates with the dogs.
