More About Watson

This beautiful corgi was picked up as a stray. Watson is a friendly boy who needs a good home! He is a little shy and can be leery of some men.
We think he is housebroken because he keeps his kennel nice and tidy.
*Experienced corgi owners only, please!
Home without children (< 5 yrs old)

Watson is
up-to-date with routine shots and house trained

Just wondering if any of you have seen this dog before or knows who he belongs to. Found him on petfinder today and we are looking into seeing if we can foster him.

Hi Zack and Lisa, do you have a direct link and other info? like which shelter Watson is located?

Well to be honest we don't feel comfortable adopting him right now. We have just found out he is an intact male and will remain that way. He is also so-so with other dogs. The lady at the shelter said he is just plain scared right now. He is in Frankfort, IN. I'm worried for him however we have to look at Midas's safety first.
Very understandable, a lot of dogs do go through initial shell shock when they're in that environment. Their true self usually reveal around 2-3 weeks in a new home. Most shelters do neuter them as they come in. I'll see if i can get the word out. Thanks for the info :)
Lisa, I'm sending the information to the local PWC Rescue. Maybe they can help.
Thanks for the heads-up!! Being a native Hoosier, I'm shocked that Clinton County is a kill shelter! I've Tweeted and posted this (thanks to Sam's tweet, since I follow you) to get the word out. I'm surprised they'd be so adamant on keeping him intact, like Sam said. He just needs some stability and soft words right now to calm down.
They said since they have no vet staff he will remain intact. He looks beautiful and she said he is very sweet but they don't know too much about him. I'm not sure how willing they are to adopt out of state. I really hope somebody on here has room for him.
Thank you so much everyone. Every little bit helps.
What a beautiful dog! He looks so sweet. Hope he finds a home!
i hope you guys can foster him or keep because you have done such a good job with midas
