There's at least one Corgi in Chugiak....  MINE!  His name is KaKa.....

We "adopted" him  in 2004...  We were asked to watch him while a couple went outside Alaska to job search.  After six months, they asked if we could watch him longer.....  OK......  So ...12 months later they called to ask if he was ok. .LOL  we said...sorry..  he's our Dog now.  THey agreed......  winks

Or vet thinks he's about 10 years old--  and Still very active

We're looking for a female now.  Our ancient Black Lab mix in in her twilight years, and we'd like to have a female to learn from her before she goes.....

KaKa is AKC registered,   but is neutered.  So our intent is another family member...  not to breed.  If anyone knows another Corgi available in Alaska..  PLease Let me know!!   Puppy OR rescue  either is fine.....

Hi I'm Janet!
I don't live in Alaska but I do like in the 59 degrees north in a village called Aupaluk in Northern Quebec! I am joining this group to get some help with living with my CWC in a cold place!

Anyone in or around Anchorage looking for a Corgi pup?

Purebreed Pembroke Welsh Corgi

"I have an incredible Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy. She is only 6 months old, and I love her dearly. Unfortunately, my landlord has decided I can no longer have a dog. As a result, I am looking for a good home for her. She is tri-colored and is up-to-date on all of her shots (including rabies). She has been spayed as well. She currently weighs 20 pounds, and the vet doubts she will get much bigger. Everything will go with her...this includes:
-her crate
-toys
-bowls
-collar/leash
-dog food
-brush
-shampoo

She has the best personality! She loves every child, adult, and dog she comes across. She has been socialized since birth. I bought her from a breeder in Pennsylvania. I would like to see her go to a home that has children and a yard. She would be a wonderful addition to any family!
*Serious inquiries only. There is a rehoming fee (as I have to be honest, I have spent a lot of money on her).
*Any questions, please feel free to contact me.
*Pictures are of her at 2 months old"
