My little boy has this confusing quirk. Whenever I give him a treat and he doesn't eat it, he hides it. I'm assuming he is just saving it for later. But my question concerns what he does when he hides his treat. He whines. And I don't know why, it's cute, but it's confusing.

Does anyone know why?

I don't know. Finn does a similar thing. When I give him his food or a treat he "talks". He'll hold the treat in his mouth and make little yip/growl/bark noises. It's not an aggresive thing at all. He'll do it to his food too, just look at it and make noises before eating it. He's done this since the day we got him when he was 8 wks old. He doesn't hide his treats though. I think it's cute but I have no idea what he's trying to tell us by doing this.
