Teresa and I are meeting 11am Sunday, October 14 at the Alum Creek Dog Park so that our 4 corgis can get together and play.

 

I thought I would pass the word to others in Ohio with corgis if you all would like to meet us there.

 

Alum Creek Dog Park is located at 3993 Hollenback Road, Lewis Center, OH 43035. Follow the signs in the park and they will lead you to the dog park area.

 

Hope to see more corgis there ;)

We would love to take Walter to the Dash and Splash but unfortunately we have something else going on that day.  I definitely want to take him next year.  We will have to try to get a good group of corgis to go next year for sure!

There is another dog event this Saturday in Xenia, Ohio. The Doggie Dash 'N Splash Fest is 10am-5pm at the Fairgrounds Recreation Center at 210 Fairground Road in Xenia, Ohio. Parking donation of $5 required.

We will be taking our two dogs there. We go every year and our corgis have a great time. If there a group of people and their corgis that want to arrive there at the same time, let me know and we can coordinate a corgi parade into the event :)

We are going to try to take our two to the Wagfest, but I am not 100% certain right now that we will be there.

Okay, all you corgi owners of Ohio. There is a male corgi in the Mahoning County Dog Pound in Youngstown, OH. I just emailed about him, and want to adopt him. The problem is, I live in Southern Indiana. Do any of you know of someone who would be willing to volunteer (I will pay expenses) to travel to northeast Indianapolis to meet me with him? I have yet to hear back from the shelter, but hopefully can get approved and then go from there. I posted this on the northeast Ohio group, as well.  Thank you very much for any help you can give.

We will be bringing our 2 Corgi there. We went last year and it was a fun time. The Canine Sprayground was fun for the dogs.
