We are looking to organize a Krewe of Corgis (Pem or Cardi) to walk together in the 2010 Krewe des Chiens Parade in Lafayette.

Parade Information
When: Lafayette, Saturday, February 6th. Parade - 2PM (Costume Contest at 1PM)
Theme: "A Lu-Howl" Hawaiian theme.
Cost: $25 per dog in advance, $35 day of parade. One extra human is $5.
There is a People Ball Friday, January 29th - 7:00 PM at A La Carte

A Sunday would be awesome, that's the only day my boyfriend has off. But i'm still available for Saturday and would be able to make either of those weekends.

Weekend is probably better although I think my wife has to work the next two weekends we could do something at like 11AM? The 12-13th or 19-20th??

I would like to meet up, but I can only do weekends or have the typical school Christmas holidays, but I will be working the Monday and Tuesday of each of those two weeks. So, Penelope and I may not be able to go...

We are looking forward to this! I am trying to spread the word to Corgi Pet Parents that come into Petsmart to join so we can have a big pack of Corgi's for the parade. hehe. Can't wait!
Does anyone know where the route is? I remember a couple years ago it was near the oil center, but i believe they've moved it since?
Also, pick a date, and we'll be sure to meet at the Dog Park for some hanging out!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!! FYI: The Krewe des Chiens dog Parade in Lafayette is Saturday, February 6th. The theme is something like "HulaHowl"...as John said, it's Hawaiian.
