Trying to help a friend who is looking to adopt a Corgi. They go so quickly! Any leads would be appreciated.
Wanted to post this little guy. i really would love to adopt him myself, but i'm afraid i'd be overwhelmed since emma is 5 months. Now, I'm sort of on a mission to get him adopted. Please pass him along.
Here is the link to him:http://m.petfinder.com/s/showPage.do?siteId=75192&pageId=702397...
I also emailed and got some additional info on him:
He is a really sweet dog but likes to be alpha male. He would most likely get along with a puppy especially if it is a female. He is about knee high and loves to talk to you. He also likes to play and gets along with females. He weighs about 35 lbs, he is the size of a corgi and looks like a husky. Our adoption fee is $60, which includes the neutering and the rabies shot. He also plays with the puppies that we have at the shelter when we put them in the play yard.
There is a very nice red/white female Pemmi with a rescue in Sulphur, LA. She's 1 year old but needs some TLC due to abuse she suffered when younger. She was kept in an outdoor run with a larger dog that kept stealing her food. Her foster says that she's food aggressive as a result. She's gets along well with dogs in general but will be very possessive if other dogs approach her person. She is otherwise very sweet and likes to be a lap dog.
