We had a lot of trouble with this and I didn't like putting her on steroids or antihistamines..so..Omega 3 Fish Oil.The over the counter like we humans take from the drug store. Solved the itching, dry skin and the rash. And, added benefit was a beautiful coat. And it is natural. Just fish. My vet said it was fine. Tippy liked it just as is, as a treat.

Yes we did the same with Omega 3 fish oil and vitamin e capsules, we gave them to him orally (both omega 3 and vitamin E) and popped the e capsules and put it, the oil, on his hot spots to help heal them, i also used some benadryl cream to help the itching. his coast is shiny and soft, thick and gorgeous!
