Hello all. I wanted to see how many Georgia people are still active here. Please tell a little bit about yourself and your pups. I'd love to meet up with some of you other Corgi lovers. The more time I spend time raising Gracie, the more I adore this breed! They are so much fun and so so smart!

About me: My husband and I live in the Lawrenceville. We don't have kids. Gracie is my first purebred dog (besides a Chihuahua I had as a child). My last dog was a Corgi-mix. Teddie had the short legs but not too much Corgi personality. She was our baby! We lost Teddie in April and I couldn't stand not having another dog. So, we jumped right into getting a Corgi. I found Gracie through some other breeder. We had to drive to Tennessee to get her. She was about 9 weeks old when we got her on mother's day. What a precious present! Gracie completed puppy kindergarten and got the AKC S.T.A.R. puppy. We're taking more obedience classes in a couple of weeks plus some introduction agility. This should be a hoot! She is still not very good on a leash. Who knows how she will do in agility! :)

Hello!
I have two corgi females, one is 5 years old named Lucy and the other is 7 months old named Rosebud. See the picture attached of Rosebud kayaking on the river last weekend. I live in Ellijay GA, about 1.5 hours north of Atlanta. Corgis are the best! They are the best size, best personalities, and mine love to smile all the time! Food is their only vice. They are little chow hounds. They love to go everywhere with me. If anyone is interested, I would love to get an Atlanta group together and meeting one day for a corgi play date and cookout.
