I received a message abou a 10 month old Corgi that is looking for a home. A Nebraska family purchased him at the 2009 Denver Stock Show and brought him home as a house dog. They already had another dog (non-Corgi) in the house. The family didn't adjust well to two indoor dogs so they took him to the ranch where they have another Corgi. This little guy has a laid back personality and the other Corgi is very Alpha and the little guy has been bullied a bit. Sounds like this little red/white Corgi is very gentle, loves to cuddle, loves to pay, but is not hyper. Happy to sit in someone's lap. He was housebroken before he went to the ranch, but having been outside since April he may have relapsed a bit. I am hoping to get a pciture to forward on. sounds like he is a beautifu red/white similar to Basil in my profile picture. I thought I would start here with the Nebraska Group just in case any of you are looking for a 2nd Corgi. They paid a lot for this little guy, but to the right home he is free. Let me know if you are interested and I can get you contact information.

I would love to adopt this little guy!!
I may have already found a home for him--a friend of my daughters. If it doesn't work out I'll get back to you. Nice to know this little guy is wanted!

Denver's new home didn't work out. He is still looking for a forever home. He is residing with me right now. I will tell you he is an absolute delight. I can't imagine why he keeps moving around. He is a lover...wants to be a lap dog. Very submissive to others and is eager to please. He has not been neutered--needs to be done. He appears to be house trained, although he does occassionally mark. I am already well beyond my limit with five corgis at home otherwise I would keep him in a heart beat. I feel bad for this little guy. He just needs some consistency and love! Let me know if you can help out. I want to be sure that his next move is his last in a forever home!
Have you found a home for Denver yet? I just found your site. Our puppy wandered from our farm earlier this month and we really miss her. We would sure consider giving this corgi a home. Thank you!

Denver...now known as Sherman has found his forever home. He spent about a week with the first family we matched him with. Unfortunately he didn't have appropriate supervision and damaged an expensive piece of furniture and ate some shoes. They decided he was too much for them. He found his way back to our house and we continued looking for a home for him. Unfortunately we were not successful. The first MyCorgi member to indicate interest could not be reached so we decided to "foster" him until a suitable home could be found. Then, the longer we had him the harder it became for us to consider parting with him. Our furniture is all in tact. He has been a perfect gentleman. Our blind Corgi has bonded with him and they have become the best of friends. I question my sanity having six Corgis at home, but it does seem to be working. I am a failed foster parent! On top of the insanity of a house full of bunny butts, Our little Fergie (3year old Corgi) is due to Whelp a litter of puppies any moment now.
How is Fergie and her pups? Have you found homes for all of them yet?
Where in Nebraska? How much for your babies?
