You'll probably get a more intelligent answer from someone else, as I don't think I have the "correct" answers. But when we were looking for our puppies we checked with local shelters and rescues to get an idea from them who were reputable breeders. Breeders generally won't have puppies back to back to back to back to back to back. They'll have a litter and then a decent break in between. At least that's how it was explained to me. A reputable breeder won't hesitate to provide references for you to check with that have gotten puppies from them already. Again, this is what I was told when I started looking. I can't say that it's correct, but it seemed logical to me.

Thank you so much thats what I kinda figured but just wasnt all that sure like you. BTW I am a born-raised Omaha Ne girl by way of Texas, mys sister still lives there but I got tired of the cold weather, funny how some times it follows you huh? Nice talking to you.

Puppies in most pet shops come from Puppy mills...not all, so checking references is a good thing. Any breeder that won't let you into their facility or doesn't give you access to see the parents is questionable. The video on the hua.org website is disturbing, but it does give you a good idea of what to look out for. There are good breeders out there and wonderful dogs in rescue looking for homes. Maybe you will be in Nebraska when we participate in the St. Patricks parade!
