As we are having the wood floors refinished in our home (with the attendant noise, dust and confusion) my husband and I decided that it would be best to bring Cosmo & Cody to the office for the duration.

Cosmo has some prior office experience, from his days as an "only dog," but Cody is a neophyte. An enthusiastic neophyte, however, he spent at least an hour after arrival with his nose to the floor, the filing cabinets, the potted plants, the desks......just taking in the new "professional" experience!

But both of the boys have settled right down, at my feet, striking classic corgi sleeping poses - "side sleeper" and "four paws to the air."

I, however, have committed the gravest error of all. For some unknown reason, I chose to wear navy wool trousers today. I am also convinced that they have been treated with some sort of "canine fur attractant" because my trousers, from the knee down, have now acquired a fuzzy reddish coating! Unfortunately, the local Lowes was out of "pet hair rollers." ;-)

Take tape to the office. It works in a pinch. Thank goodness I don't dress for the office just jeans, but with 2 lab/ greyhound mixes and a corgi I'm always a fur ball.
Yes, fortunately we have an "industrial sized" tape gun for package sealing purposes. I used it AT LEAST 27 times yesterday, I'm sure. (Ok, that is a slight exaggeration! ;-) )
I giggle. With four Corgis and a closet full of black pants and skirts for the office I have invested heavily in lint rollers. I keep them in the Car, at my office in my suitcases, but I think most of the time I am oblivious to all that hair. I am embarrassed to admit, that I was supposed to bring Fern to the office today because she has a 5:00 pm Vet Appt. and I forgot. She is snoozing happily at home with the rest of the Corgi pack I live about 45 miles from where I work so when there is an appt. scheduled they come to the office with me. Your message remeinded me of my error. So now I will call the vet and see if I can reschedule for Thursday.....It's only Tuesday....I'm already anticipating the weekend!
Four corgis? Would that be a gaggle, a pack, or a pride?? :-D They really are endearing creatures. To paraphrase the classic Lay's potato chip ad, "Betcha can't have just one!"
I think they prefer to be referred to as the "royal court" They are endearing, frustrating, entertaining and the best package of unconditional love I could imagine!
I highly recommend the FURminator. They are kind of pricey but work great. I have much less Cinch hair on my couch and he loves the extra attention.

The hair......got to love it.
We travel with a roller in every rig and two of them through out the house.
If we are heading out we always give each other the hair inspection.
One of my friends got a puppy from us and takes him to work with her. She is a book keeper and travels from business to business. Morgan goes with her into all of the places and the people just love having him there.
I sure wish I could take mine to work with me!
