I hope I am not speaking too soon, but have not had a problem with ticks.  It's seems the fleas are thick, but Poodeck has not been tearing up his pants (I call them cut-offs) like last year.  Thank God we have not had ticks,

have any other south florida corgi people been having a worse than normal experience with tics?  Our vet talked using a collar in addition to advantage....sounds kind of scary, though.  anyone have a comment?

Being that it is Poodeck's second birthday Tuesday, we took him to the Snyder Park.  It was hot but nice because the dogs in the "big dog" area were not all that threatening, so we spent our time there.  We even got P.D. to swim a bit, and it wasn't because he fell off the boat. (that's an entirely different outing)  A gal mentioned she had seen a black Corgi earlier, was that someone from our group?

I hope the rain stops! If it's still raing at 10:15, we won't go... BOO!!!!  Cinny gets scared.  Maybe Nutty and I will drive over just in case. Nutty LOVES to play in the rain.
