I laughed when I read this because my husband always says he wants to rehome our one... he was a rescue and still has some rough habits that I'm trying to break.  If he came on here he'd be trying to give him to you!  

 

I will let you know if I hear of any in the area though.  Your best bet might be to contact the breeders and let them know.  That's how I actually ended up with my rescue.  The breeder knew I was looking for a dog (puppy at the time- but I couldn't turn this boy away) and contacted me when she was told a family was giving Tanner up.  Or the breeders might know of organizations in the area for it.
