Washington State Corgis

Any kind of Corgi is welcome to this group! From those who are from Olympia, Vancouver, Seattle and even Pullman! I've hardly seen Corgis in Washington, but this group continues to prove me wrong!

Yeah, I grew up with German Shepherds and Basset Hounds all of my life. This last year I was in Petco while I was home on break from school and I saw this lady walking her corgi named "Ranger". He was so well mannered that when I got back to Pullman, I started to research getting a corgi and luckily I found a breeder about an hour away. We didn't go there with the intention of getting one, but we left with two because we fell so much in love with them! There are a couple of boy corgis in the neighborhood that I might breed with, or I might just get another one sometimes because I love them so much!

I will be a first time dog owner with Banzai. Ryan (my BF) on the other hand has never lived without a dog. He's been with rottweilers, akitas, German Shepards, and before he moved down with me his family had a colie shepard mix named Mocha.

I eventually want to look into getting a red headed tri. While Ryan wants a male German Shepard. Who knows some day we might have both.

aw :) Yeah, my dad asks how the puppies are doing before he normally asks how my day was! He was a little upset at the price tag at first, but I think that now that he has met them, he looks way past it. Have you ever owned a corgi before? I got my first set about three months ago and they are by far the best dogs I have ever owned!

They have. My breeder sends videos of the puppies to us, and we forward them on to his family. They seem to have mixed feelings about the little one but I'm sure that once they meet him they will love him.

That is such an adorable name! ha ha ha. Has his family seen the puppy yet? My family was unsure of my fiance and I getting a dog until they saw them. Now they love them more than they love us :)

The BF's family lives in Snohomish, and we plan to visit with Banzai at Christmas.

Ha ha, I know what you mean! I am from near Olympia, but live in Pullman for school; I love it on both sides! It's wonderful!

Yes I know I live in Florida. But my boy friend lived in WA for most his life. His family still lives there and ultimately I want us to move back there.

I love Washington state, such a beautiful majestic place. Though I'd rather live on the other side of the Cascades. Leavenworth, or Wenatchee, some place where the sun shines for more then 10 days out of the year.
