Hi Sam. Thanks for the welcome. Hopefully Roscoe and I will make some friends here as soon as his mom gets more confident with the computer! Ha! My daughter will help me get some pics on site too. Your pups are pretty. Roscoe isn't as personable as I think he could be due to the effects of Prednisone, but he is a cutie. Even though he has some serious problems, his little "stumpy butt' and his attitudes bring a lot of laughs to us. Thanks again. Penny

  • Kim

Tucker is amazing! I've got to get some video added so you all can see him before and after. He almost does everything he did prior to his amputation.

    Good Morning Sam..
How are you and your beautiful wife doing?
    How are the corgis?
I love to watch how calm they are , even when the Roomba were moving ... Skye chases the vacumm cleaner everytime ... lol... He gets so excited and just run around the house after..
It's like his switch had been turned on (whenever we vacuum the floor)...
You both have a wonderful day today ....
  • Georgia

That would be TOO much cuteness in one place! I've only seen several corgis in Atlanta, but when I went to CA for the summer they were everywhere!

  • Paws4Thought

Have Mocha and Vienna always gotten along very well ?
I am having some issues with my two.
    Any advise ?
  • penny spencer

Sam, are these the only Corgi meets areas? How can I find if there's one in Michigan, Ohio? Thanks.
  • Paws4Thought

Well Sadie is the elder and a rescue . She has always been hand shy and has a issue with fear pee.I fear she may have been abused before I got her.Rolo is be bit hyper around Sadie ,she normally just growls and walks away from him. but one night when my wife came home ,they both were very excited and a small scuffle broke out. Sadie clamped onto Rolo and would not let go .Rolo had to go to the vet and since then they keep their distance. My wife is almost paranoid to let them do any sort of uncontrolled interaction since the injury to Rolo for fear of them getting hurt again. My concern is that if they never interact they can never go forward and grow a real relationship.

I read in your bio that you are a car nut. Antiques or new?
    Hubby likes antiques.

    Thanks for the welcome Sam!

I am indeed Canadian..but corgis are not so popular in British Columbia where I live. It took us over an year to find a breeder!
  • morningstar

there are a few breeders on the island but my family was apprehensive about taking the ferry with a dog. We went to Spokane to meet with a breeder and in the end, she said she didnt' know us well enough and the distance between us worried her (which is completely understandable).

So we contacted several breeders in the Washington area from the PWCCA and luckily one of the breeders had a friend up here in Langely which is abotu half an hour from Vancouver.

We went and met her and she only had two corgis left so we were lucky.

My vet says corgis are more popular on the island apparently because its more british on the island? Other than that, I have never seen a corgi around my area before.
  • penny spencer

No, Sam, I didn't get a message from you.
  • penny spencer

thanks Sam I'll look into the site. Hope yu and family are fine. Take care.
  • Lauren

I'm about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Brevard County. I would love to meet others from South Florida that have Corgis...if you know who they are, please send them my page. Thanks.
  • Lauren

Thanks Sam. Melbourne isn't too far away. It looks like so much fun. My little Winston loves playing with other dogs. He is very social.
  • Corbin

Thanks. We've been stretching the ears every day to get them this big! :P
  • Lauren (Spike's Mom)

Thanks for the welcome Sam. Winston's mom Lauren works with me and she told me about this site. I am looking forward to getting to know other corgi folks.
  • Cubbie

Thank you Sam, we love that picture! It was taken near Crater Lake, Oregon at the "Lava Tubes". Great place to visit if you ever get to the North West.
  • Shelby Shirley

Thanks for the welcome - I'm really new to this type of website and I keep accidentally deleting people and things I don't think I should. I need to spend some more time here and figure out how to post pictures etc. Will do some more tonight. Thanks, Shelby
  • Katie

Thank you so much, Sam. And this is a great site you've got here! It's great to have someplace to connect with other Corgi owners.
  • Sasha

Thanks for making this sight! Without you people who love corgis couldn't express their feelings about them and people wouldn't be able to help other people... so thanks! :)
  • Sasha

Yes, believe it or not what I say is true! :) This sight is awesome!
  • pat and mike

    Sam,

Thank you very much for creating such a wonderful site. We all love to see Corgi's.
  • Geri & Sidney

Thank you Sam! You have some really great pictures in your slideshow. One of your pups looks just like our Sidney.
  • Mindy

Your corgis are so cute!!!! :-)
  • nwcorgifan

    Hi Sam-
    Your corgis are adorable.
I grew up in Pensacola and went to school in Gainesville (go, Gators!) but I had to look up Viera to see where it is. I'm not familiar with your part of Florida at all.
Right now, sitting here in Seattle, those beach pictures are looking awfully good!
  • Sam Tsang

Hey Shane, when I book hotels, I check the pet friendly box and it'll pull up all the results. In my last experience, we went to key west and the room was in the VIP wing, it was top notch, close to exit, easier to take the dogs out. Plus we had a bag of doggie goodies from the hotel. The room it self was awesome, clean, no smell what so ever. Bottom line is, go for the mid range to higher priced hotels, you get what you paid for :) Yup Sep 21st :)
  • Rachel

Sam - thanks for the welcome! I found you through Facebook and George is thrilled to be here. What a great site. I now have some pics of George up on his page so the world can see our little guy. Happy Anniversary and keep up the great work!
  • ::m::

Thanks for the welcome, Sam! It seems we have more in common than the love of Corgis... As I too run my own design/development shop and have a passion for interior design and tech-gadgets... I also own a 500+ hp 2005 Mustang. Brothers from another mother???
  • Tim Finks

That sounds great sam, thanks for the suggestion. I'll send out some messages today and see what my fellow Austinites thinks. Btw, this is an awesome site. I've been visiting for a little over a month now without getting an account of my own (should of done it sooner=p), and I had no idea there is a pretty big community of corgi admirers. Thanks for the site, and keep up the good work ;)
  • Erica

I was just reading your profile, CEO of mycorgi.com what a great idea you have come up with.

So I have been thinking that getting another corgi for Wyatt would be good for him. I am going to start looking for his new sibling :)
  • Suresh

Thanks for the warm welcome! :D
  • Heather

Hi Sam, thanks for all the great comments.
  • James

Thanks for the comment, I cannot wait to pick him up. See your into cars and Webdesign. I run a small design firm in Jacksonville and have a drag evo in the garage!
