Hey Avyon! Welcome to MyCorgi.com! Your Corgi sounds like a protege :) Advise on the master's degree? DO IT FAST! just get through it!
  • WhiteDove

    What a cute face. . . .
  • WhiteDove

Thank you. . .my pupsters really are a happy family!!!
  • Katelyn

    AWW I like your corgi!
  • Katelyn

How old is your dog? How much did you get her for?
  • Katelyn

DANG! Mine looks almost like yours and I got him for 150, maybe it was because he was a puppy...idk
  • Katelyn

ah, well thats awesome! Mine was AKC too. Guess she just really wanted to get rid of them. She was showing them off at wallmart one day. =)
  • Zed

Thanks for the picture comment. That is one of my favorite pictures of Zed and it was taken with a cell phone camera of all things.
  • Candy

    HI! Thank you so much.
I'm going to try it. That's pretty much how I trained Bonni (the older one), but not so strict.. bc she was very receptive, and wanted my approval. So it was alot easier. I worry about The puppy and Bonni, bc Faye is so aggressive with Bonni, even when Bonni is just trying to teach her a thing or two.
  • Zed

Thanks for the video comment. If Zed jumps he can get a little higher than ankle high. Really he's a snuggle puppy like yours. He likes the Frisbee too, he's just working on catching it every time...but he tries.
  • Theresa Holland

My all black baby is yeah part pug. But she is all corgie in attuide. She really gives the other one a run for her money...lol
  • Lauren + Winston

Haha yes, I always wonder why they have cow spot bellies! Everyone's always asked why he's like that and I never have an answer. But it's just so cute.
  • Lisa

    Hi nice to meet you!
  • Lisa

    I love your website!
  • Lisa

Hi there, What kind of puppy food do you recommend?
  • Ivy & Bryson

Thanks! Love your SF-themed page! Did you use to live here?
  • Lauren (Duke and Daisy's momma)

Roxi has such short slick hair. That's nice. Duke is sooo hairy, it is everywhere. Ms. Roxi is super cute.
  • Corgi Mom

Roxi is very talented! ;-) Due to having PTSD from having served in Iraq I still have a "smidge" of a problem with the "bang bang" trick. But I'm working on 'cause it can be very cute and shows the dog's discipline and training.
  • Kate

    What a cutie Roxie is!
  • Florence Fong

    Hi Avyon,

That is not a picture of my Ritz. It's from the internet. I've yet to upload his pictures. Will do so as soon as possible. Thought it would be good to upload a picture os a cute Corgi than no picture at all.
  • Sam Tsang

Hey, thanks for the headsup :)
  • April

Your baby is very very cute too!!!!!
  • Daisy

    Thanks for the help!
  • Brian Davis

Thank you for the friend invite Avyon :) Roxi is so cute ! How big is she ? My baby at 14 weeks is almost 8lbs. The breeder told me her Mom was only 12 lbs and i am kinda hoping she stays smallish .I love holding her .
  • Kristen

People have been so kind about my Basil. I am like you. I don't have a problem with hunting, but there are places where it isn't right. Thank you so much for your thoughts. I miss him terribly. I feel for you being away from your baby. They are just that. I've raised two girls into adults and it is funny how my dogs are my children now. If I could just figure a way to quit my job and stay at the farm. I'll just keep buying lottery tickets. What do you do in DC.?
  • Kristen

We are just a farm acerage so we have horses, chickens ducks and geese. Not active farmers, but we are 45 minutes from my office. We live on a road that ends just past our house so nice and quiet, except during harvest. I have four miles of gravel road from the highway. I am a lobbyist for the rural electric systems in Nebraska. Funny job for someone who doesn't like politics! But I like working with the rural constiuency. Good people. Good luck with your goal of working from home. I would love to work from home or better yet give up work and be at home! I'm actually going to be in DC in February and back again in May. I can't imagine moving back to town, but my commute is getting old!
  • Kristen

My job has it's moments. The DC trip is business, but I always try to find something new to do when I come to town. Last May I drove down to Colonial Williamsburg which was great fun. I know I couldn't live there, but I do enjoy visiting.

We used to collect the duck eggs, but found out that i am allergic to them so I stopped cooking with them. We only have four ducks so not a lot of eggs. My Lizzie delights in finding an egg stash, which has contributed to her curvy figure! the geese also lay eggs, we started with a pair and they hatched out a pair last spring so now I have four..which may be four too many! Very messy! Basil used to guard the nest. Not protecting the babies, but he considered them his personal stash. I haven't done the spy museum, but have considered it. In June of each year I bring a group of about 20 high school kids to DC to tour and thought it would be a good visit for them, but just haven't gotten around to it. Maybe this year. I have never been to VT, but I have a very romantic idea of what it must be like.
  • Kristen

None of the Corgis seem to get sick from the eggs, but I do try to stop them from eating too many. I think farm dogs have iron clad stomachs! I can always tell when they have "snuck" an egg becuase they get gassy and it is a tell tell smell! The dogs also love to chew on the trimmings after the farrier comes out to do the horses feet. I know it is good for their teeth, but the hoof chunks give them terrible breath! lol
  • Bryan

Hi Avyon. I'm not all the metal head I used to be (ha!), but Simon's dance certainly reminds me of my occasional forays into the mosh pit back in the day. :-) Thanks for the friend invite!
  • Karen & Bailey

  • CaptainCorgi

Thanks so much for the compliment about my pictures. Yes it does help to have a beautiful model, but aren't all corgis beautiful? =) Eowyn loves to have her picture taken, she knows she beautiful <3

I actually got her name from the Lord of the Rings. I think it's welsh gaelic so it's spelt Eowyn, but pronounced in a different way. -=-) Thanks! *snuggles your Roxi*

We'd love to have some corgi friends in DC! Will you be living in the district or out in VA/MD? Cheers!

Hello Avyon - thank you very much for the nice comments about Trudy and her pics. She is a sweetie. Roxi is very, very pretty. Have you heard about the Corgi Fun Fair on May 10: http://www.pwccp.org/. This is a fun thing especially with all the funny Corgis running around. Not that far from N. VA. Two yrs ago Trudy won the blue ribbon for being the best kisser!
    Thanks,
    Mike (pup daddy)
