I like all animals. I'm happily married to a wonderful man & we have 3 children & 4 grandsons. I like to do crafts of different kinds, like beading, woodworking, stained glass & sewing. I've worked for the same company for the last 27 years.
About My Corgi(s):
Our Corgi's are 1 male, Thumper, & 1 female, Sissy. We lost Thumper 2 years ago to bladder cancer at just 3 months before he would have turned 9 years old. We all miss him terribly still to this day. Our Sissy is still with us at the age of 10 years now. She is a sweety in her own way, but she's not our Thumper.
This site is a lot of fun and a wealth of information. Your corgis are beautiful. I'm sorry for the loss of Thumper. It's amazing how they become our children and we treat them as so. Makes life that much more worth living. :o)
Frances, welcome. I'm sorry to hear about your Thumper. It is terribly hard to lose a friend. My oldest daughter used to live in Kentucky--she started out in college there and decided she was going to be a Jockey. Arrg. Beautiful part of the country. My profile picture with Basil and Lizzie was taken in Kentucky! I lost my Basil just over a year ago. I will always miss him he stole my heart.
Thanks! We sure think he's special. We hope to find another corgi here in the next few months. I would love another tri-color but hubby wants the orange and creme.
Bailey sez thanks for the compliment. We are so sorry about your little Thumper. I know he is waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. Little Sissy is precious too.
Thanks for visiting Bryson's page! I almost had tears looking at photos of Thumper and Sissy. We're (relatively) new dog owners (Bryson's our first dog and we had him for about a year), it's hard for us to imagine ever losing him. But I guess that's what our pets teach us, to love with abandon and be present each moment, right?
My eyes still well up in tears every time I think about him, but yes, you are right. That is part of what they teach us. Thank you for the kind words. I hope you do not know this pain for many years to come.
Hi Frances!! Welcome to the group!! I am so sorry about Thumper. I am so glad you still have sissy. I love their pictures. Thank-you for the visit!! ((BIG HUGS))!!
Frances -Thanks for the compliment , Brynn gives you a healthy bark :)
Sissy looks like a sweet girl and i bet you miss Thumper, very cute baby photo of him .I know loss , i have 2 cats and had 2 brothers before them that passed away . I still miss them and think about them .My Leo was so smart he would turn lights off if we ignored him ! Hoping we can teach Brynn something like that ! LOL
We thank you! It's a wonderful thing to wake up to, starts my
day off right :-).
I am sorry about Thumper. I still miss my babies that have passed on.
No one can replace them in you heart, just help ease the loss.
Willie is currently outside playing with my folks 2 Aussies. We'll be heading home
tomorrow morning - from SoCal to NorCal a 475 mile trip one way. He travels so well.
So do my 4 cats. I need to get a pic of all 5 lined up on the back seat LOL!
haha thank you, with her new sets of medications her seizures seem to be under much better control. and yes she does have those eyes that drill into your heart to get me to give her what ever she wants :o)
Your 2 look very adorable as well, and i am sorry about Thumper, i can only imagin.
I'm sorry for your loss. I lost a corgi at 6 months and it broke my heart. I will ALWAYS have corgis in my life now...I can't imagine having any other type of dog. :)

You're right. We'll never forget Toby, but Jack and Josey sure do help to ease the pain. Sorry to read about Thumper. I'm sure Sissy misses him, too. Were they litter mates?

Hi Frances, your pups are beautiful! Sorry to hear about Thumper, are you planning on adding another Corgi in the future to keep Sissy company?
I'm beyond thrilled about finally getting my puppy, only 3 more weeks and he'll be home. I'm going to visit him this weekend and hopefully I'll finally get some pictures, I can't wait :)
