I am a graphic designer. I had a corgi long before, and it was when I lived in Russia. I love corgis since. We moved to the US in 2000, and finally I got a new corgi puppy in August 2008.
About My Corgi(s):
My corgi's name is Charlie. He is a sweetest boy with a happy personality. "My happy puppy," I call him.
WOW.........OMG...
ur baby corgi is so cute !!!!!
i remember when i teke my bubu home first day ,she ran in to my bedroom .... Po a big POo near my bed on my carpet ..........
woo.... cant wait to see more pic .
Hi Alla,
Puppies & senior dogs tend to sleep more. My Ritz is just over 2 years old and very active. Wished he sleeps more but does not and he's a light sleeper. By the way, I love picture no. 4 of Charlie.
Hi Alla and Charlie!
Charlie looks adorable!! From one Graphic Designer to another: You are so lucky! See.... my little 'Ein' is like... "Super-Dog"... on Crack! haha. Ok, maybe not that bad but when the textbooks say Corgis are HIGH energy... man he IS! It's like he's never calm until it's time for bed. Always wanting to run around, to see what's over there and over here, to chew on this, to go eat that (which he shouldn't eat @all lol)... and man! ugh! Hardly cares/wants to be pet or cuddled... play-bites A LOT despite my repeated "don't bites" and "no-nos", (I mean, he stops, but then goes right back to doing 2 secs later) and just wants to raise hell in general...haha. I'm wondering if it's mostly due to his parents... they were both rather on the hyper/high energy side too when I met them at the breeder's. (maybe I should've taken a hint?) It sounds like lil' Charlie is so peaceful tho!! I'm like, jealous! haha. What were Charlie's parents like?? Do you have any tips at all? Ein's coming up on 11weeks old, already knows, "Sit", "Down" (command to lay down -but it takes a while) "Up" (to sit up on his hind legs) and of course "Treat!" and is sorta getting what it means when I say "Wanna go Potty?" -So he is smart, but just... uber-hyper. =/
Charlie is such a cutie! Love the way he "destroys" things and sleeps. Very adorable. If you don't mind me asking, can you give me the breeder's information? We're looking for a second corgi that's why.
Alla, thanks for sending me the link to Dalarno corgis. Too bad I'm in NYC and they're in VA. Do they offer shipping? I really don't want them to but I'm thinking of options. I will definitely consider them highly. Thank you so much again!!
Yeah, I assume now there is this great big corgi kidnapping ring that is located wherever I happen to be at the time. And I just know that Madog is someone's Elinor. (Seen the movie Gone in 60 Seconds?)
Thanks so much! I just keep thinking of happy memories and that is helping me not be too sad while he's still here. I dont want him to remember me sad you know...
thank you for your comments. Our other cat is not in there, you are right!! He is a solid white semi long-hair with pink nose and light green eyes. He is rather shy from the camera.. But a very pretty boy.
I love the photos with your pup and the cat. They made me laugh. I am so thankful for all the support on here it is helping me through even though it is sooooo hard! Thanks so much
Hi Alla! Thanks a lot for the input, I never totally thought about it that way. Looking on the site here I do see a lot of people have a hard time with young puppies. I told the breeder (who is a very nice lady) that I was pleased to see she cares a lot about her puppies. Charlie is adorable! Congrats!
Youre welcome! Ive had my corgi for almost 4 yrs now what a wild ride! I wish she was Charlie's age again but she was so much smaller than him because she was the runt of her litter and they didnt even think she would survive after she was born. But now she's big and happy.LOL right a this moment she's on the couch sleeping wearing my Santa Hat! Well sorry for another long comment! LOL bye!
Hey. We'd love to schedule a play date. I looked online about the Kings Farm park and you have to fill out a form and prove you are a rockville resident. I wonder how strict they are. There is one in Wheaton that we'd like to check out.
Hey! It's a bit short notice, but are you guys free to meet up this weekend? Charlie's brother too? My husband is out of town, so I hope to fill the weekend with some fun, busy activities. Looks like Caden will be my valentine ;-)
Let me know. ~Cindy
Caden and I did go to the park on Sunday. Not too many small doggies at first, so we stayed in the larger dog area. Caden had a good time and right before we left, we saw 2 other PWCs and one of them was Ender... I didn't realize that was the name of Charlie's brother till I came back on here. I think the other one was named Blue. They didn't really get a chance to play cause Caden was pooped. I have a conference to go to this weekend, but Jeremy might take him on Sunday. I'll let you know. ~Cindy
