About Me:: I'm Michelle and when I joined I used the anonymous Lady Bug handle because I never imagined I would meet so many other Corgis and their owners all over Texas through this site. It's been so much fun and I'm looking forward to growing group sizes and plenty of meetups!
In addition to the corgi zoo, we have a parrot. Ankh is a loud blue crown conure - but we love him!
I am passionate about animals, motorcycles, photography & being creative. I'm also a gamer girl - the 360 is my vice! My husband I enjoy Geocaching and I'm also a baker in addition to my full time job at a children's hospital.

About My Corgi(s):: My husband and I currently have two corgis:
Ziggy, our sable & white boy, is 9 years old. He came to us at 6 months. He thinks the world revolves around him...we may have contributed to that complex a little : )

Simon, our tri color, is a rescue estimated at 3 years old. We got him from Dallas Corgi Rescue right before Christmas 2012. He's been an absolute dream and has fit into our home beautifully. He is our energetic "retriever" and loves to play fetch. He's also a big cuddle bug and has been nicknamed "Kitty Kat" because he is extremely agile and will climb up in your lap for cuddles!

thank you!! yeah, we laugh quite often at Pistol's eyebrows...I love it when he sits between me and my husband at the dinner table...he never moves his head when looking at us hoping we drop something...just his eyes and eyebrows follow us...lol :) Ziggy and Roady are adorable, love the pics!! We hope to find a rescue soon...

Thank you so much for the welcome. I was supposed to go to the Great Corgi Meet-up and had some friends of mine from some of my Yahoo Corgi Lists go. I think that was the busiest weekend of my entire life - i've never had so many things scheduled for one weekend. If you are ever in the San Antonio or Austin Area we should get together and let the short-legged ones play. Your corgi's are beautiful and would love to see some from the corgi picnic if you have any (esp. of Bone-apart...lol)

Aww...thanks for the compliment! I love animals too! You're so lucky to have a whole herd of them, especially two handsome corgi boys! :-) You know, I didn't particularly think I needed rescuing when I went looking for a dog, but Caleb has added so much joy to my life in the short time I've had him, my pre-corgi life now seems lacking. I find it inspiring the way our dogs live in the moment, and can move beyond whatever their past experiences were, to become such loving, fantastic companions and family members. Is it weird I aspire to be like my dog in that respect? :-)

Hey! Yes, we really do need to get these babies together! I bet it will be a hoot. I’ve been seeing a lot on TV about how these little ones need to socialize. I kinda feel like a bad Mama, not thinking of doing it sooner. I love your pictures; did you add some new ones? I’m going to go back and look at them again. Isn't it so cute when they play while lying on their backs! I wonder why they do that? Tis the cutest!
