We lost our Corgi (Emmy) on October 12, 2007 to a rare Wild Animal Bacteria carried by infective Skunks and a few other animals. Emmy was only 7 years old when we lost her. She was loved by everyone, especially the kids, we always knew where she was when there were any kids around. She especially loved to play with anyone in the water.
That is so sad about your corgi:( Puppyfind is where I found my corgi and she is wonderful! She is only 2 1/2 and a huge part of our family. I'm sure you'll find another that will be perfect for you and your family soon!
Thank you for adding me as a friend. I'm very sorry about your loss. I lost my german shepherd that I had growing up. I've had him for about 3 years, I miss him still terribly but my little guy I have now reminds me a little bit of my shepherd. I hope you find that corgi you are looking for. May she/he bring you nothing but love and happiness once again. :)
Hi George! I am so sorry for your loss. Peanut Butter is my first pet and I can't imagine not having her around :) Corgis are just sooo loveable! BTW I like the corgi clock picture that you have put up ehehehehe
Hi George, thank you for adding me as a friend. I am so sorry for you loss. Pets really become part of our family. May you find another corgi who becomes a special member of your family again.
Thank you for adding me as a friend. I am so sorry for you loss. I know you will find another corgi who will become a special member of your family. From SPUD
Hi George,
Thank you for the invite...I'm sure losing your Corgi was very tough...But I'd like to think she's in the "big herding field in the sky"..All the best to you and maybe you could find another Corgi soon...
Take care ..all the best to you and yours from Colorado!
So sorry for your loss of Emmy. We lost our other Corgi, Murphy, to a freak accident several yrs ago, and it's still painful. Our animals are truly family members. You will find another Corgi, not to replace, but to love.
Thank you for the add!
I'm so sorry about your loss. Emmy looks and sounds like she was a wonderful Corgi and had and equally wonderful family and home. ^_^
Hope your search comes up well soon.
Thanks for adding us as friends. Sorry to hear about Emmy. She was a beautiful girl and I'm sure she was as warm and loving hearted as she looks in her pictures. It has been said that dogs are dogs but Corgis are family. I have found this to be true. I have often said that we would never have been able to pick out a corgi like this one (whichever one I am thinking about) because God has wonderfully made each and every one. When you have been blessed with another Corgi in your life he/she will be an individual with it's own personality that will grow on you as your dog grows. Good luck as you seek another Corgi and keep me posted.
Hello George V,
So sorry to hear of your loss, we too lost our little Jinx in November of 2007 which was a terrible time for my wife and I.
Then one day while looking at corgi websites I came across our Reecee. She was born in October of 2008.
Jinx was 4 years old when we lost her to a spinal disorder and was red and white in color. She was my first corgi and I admit that I am hooked on the corgi. Please let me know when you get a new pup, there like my wife, can't live without them.
Thanks for the invite. My Bear was recently poisoned by my neighbor because my dog barked at his dog while his dog was barking at my dog.HuH? He put antifreeze in her water bowl. She is fighting for her life at USF while she is on Dialysis for her failing kidneys. They are the only ones who have a dialysis machine in Florida. Please keep her in your prayers.
Aww, I feel so sorry that you lost your dog, I know what it's like to lose something so close and loving to you. But I'm wonder are those new corgis? They look exactly like my 1 of 3, named Casey.
Sorry to hear about the loss of your Emmy. It is a very hard thing.
We got Riley from a breeder on the NH, MA border in Davers MA. Well cant think of the town but she was the dog warden in Davers and the town she lived. If you would like I can get her name. She was recoomended by someone on the Mayflower Pembroke Welsh Corgi mayflowercorgiclub.org
sorry to hear about Emmy. I enjoyed all photos of Emmy on flicker. She was a very beautiful dog. I can see how she was loved by everyone. Even though she is done, Emmy will forever be in your heart and those who loved her.
Hi! Thank you for the add!
Just want to say that I'm really sorry about Emmy. I saw her pictures and she was so beautiful and seemed very sweet as well. I hope you find another Corgi soon!
Hi! I'm so excited to have found this site! Corgis are so wonderful and special, it's so great to have a forum to talk with other owners. Your Emmy was beautiful (she's your avatar, correct?), I never knew about that bacteria! My condolences, I know it aches, even now (we lost our cat Toonces last August).
Hello thanks for the add :) Foxi and I send our prayers to Emmy :) Corgi's are truely wonderful pets, I'm sure you will find one for you and your family soon.
Hi! Thanks for the invite. So sorry to hear about Emmy! That had to have been hard for you and your family. I have a litter of Pembrokes right now and we currently have 4 puppies left to choose from. 1 male and 3 females. Our website is www.littlecreekacres.com Let me know if you're interested!
Hi George, sorry for your loss. We too lost our corgi, Lexi to lymphosarcoma. She was only 4. We now have Jack our 2nd and he is a spunky lil guy! Corgis are the best dogs in the world!
I'm sorry about Emmy. We lost our 17 year old kitty a couple of years ago, and I never thought I'd take another pet in. A couple years later, and we have another cat and a baby corgi. It still hurts, but the new additions have lifted our spirits.
I'm very sorry about your Emmy. We lost our Tedi Bear 12/29/08 he was 12 years old. It broke our hearts. I knew in about 2 weeks that I could never replace him but our hearts were so empty. Then we found Samantha @ Wendtworthcorgis.com and are into count down time 23 days and she will come to her forever home. I hope you find the corgi that I know is out there waiting for you.
Losing one of our beloved pets is always so hard! I believe that the next corgi is out there somewhere, waiting to be brought to you. :)
I am in the mountains of Southern NM, but was born in Exeter, NH. Since I've been a Westerner almost since birth, I have no idea where Nottingham is in relation to Exeter ...
