Yeah...you don't see all of the 'outtakes' of the hat picture here. It was quite an undertaking, but I spent a small fortune on the hat, so I was determined to make it work! The hat originally had ice cream in it, and though I washed it well, he could apparently still smell the ice cream and kept trying to lick the hat!
  • Nikon

I wanted to give him a unique pet name and I went threw many names, but none really worked. I wanted to give him a Japanese name since many of their names have meanings behind them. Then while thinking up names I saw my aunt's Nikon camera. Then a light bulb came on and I decided to use it. I asked some of my family on how they liked the name. That is were one of my cousins suggested (nee-kon) and i thought it sounded better because it would separate it a little from the camera company.

Steve reminds me of Nikon! Soo cute!!! His little bro is cute too. I like Turtle it is very unique. I want another brother or sister for Nikon, but he enough energy for me to handle. lol
  • andrea

Haha, yes oh to own a puppy. She's such a little clown, but she definitely makes up for it in cuteness.
  • bilco

Very cute pictures, makes me want to get a puppy. What named did you decide on?
  • Reese

Thanks!! Only a few more weeks till we get her! Yours is adorable as well...
  • Chelsey

No his original name was Cowboy, didn't really suit him. (though he does look cute with a bandana around his collar)
  • May

Steve and the pup are very cute... is it Turtle? (Turtle is a good name). Looks like they enjoy the beach. Dexter and I have not ventured out to the Dog Beaches yet... but it is in our near future. I just have visions of him swimming out to sea! :)
  • Dannielle

Yes it is very exciting I love getting the pics from the breeder she also sends a video each week with them it is such a wonderful experience. It is amazing how much they grow and how quickly I am already in love. Hope u have a great night! and thanks for being so welcoming :o)
  • Karen & Bailey

we get all our shirts at petsmart or target, mostly petsmart! and on clearance too!
  • Princess Yuki

Ohmigosh! Steve is so handsome! Is dat his baby brother frm the same kennel? So cute!! Im sure they will get along mighty fine n have lotsa fun! :)
  • Sophie

My last Corgi was kinda a runt. She was a little on the small side, but ALL Corgi still the same. Yours are just adorable.
  • Anne

Le-Le is not fond of a camera so we have to sneak shots of her. There is something about a SLR camera or medium format camera that makes her nervous & she is better with a point & shoot digital. We are hoping to overcome this issue since we have always taken pictures of our dogs. We used to have 2 beagles brothers who posed fairly well. My parents 1st corgi was so obedient that he would pose for me on a sit stay for a long time. When he was through he would not get up but turn his back to the camera.
  • Alina

Your corgis are great and "Turtle" is especially cute oozing out of his bed :)
  • Bob Dog

Cute kids! Our 2 corgis, Tasha and her son Bob Dog are in the photo with Molly and the Dane that you commented on. Molly is Bob Dog's sister.
  • Nicole

Is that the Long Beach dog beach I see in those photos? I'm hoping to take Pen there soon - she just became "street legal" last week :)
  • LeAnne

    Hi
Our first corgi is "Daddy's Bella Mia"
After thatMy husband really wanted them all to have B names.
  • Corey & Holly's Mom

They are doing very well! The first couple of days were eye awaking but they are too cute together. As shown in the picture the older corgi (Corey) is even willing to share his home with Holly. The only thing I need to keep my eye on his bone/treats.
  • Corey & Holly's Mom

It really is funny when they play. It looks sometimes like wrestling. I call the puppy Holly Hogan. It's great that your dogs get along too!
  • PuKi

Yes, Puki def. loves relaxing in that chair. When she was smaller she would always try to jump on it but she was just too small to do it. One day she went out there and I turned around for a second and she was sitting on it, tongue out and all, she was so happy! Now she likes to jump on it and bark at everyone and anything she sees!

Hope you can find one too for you adorable lil pups!
  • Natalie, Lance &Tucker

Nice slideshow of pictures.....so many cute ones! You did a great job of capturing great photos! I enjoyed watching them. Cute Corgis!
  • Natalie, Lance &Tucker

Thank You for the compliments on Lance :)
  • Banjo and Starbuck

Thank you for making Banjo feel welcome. Your boys are so cute, they look very playful. Are they related? Do they get along well?
  • Samwise

Thanks for the response. Sam is Samwise Gamgee, Frodo's buddy from the Lord of the Rings movies, (hobbit dog!). He is doing great from his treatment for Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia, (AIHA). He was treated with high does steroids then tapered down. No return of disease at this point and he is off all medicaton. We are happy. Corgi's are the best!
  • Banjo and Starbuck

Banjo usually walks an hour, but she can go about 90 minutes without getting tired. I started when she was a puppy doing 15 minutes around the neighborhood, than 20, 30, 45, and an hour as she grew up. She's pretty active in general, but she's not that into fetch and we don't have a pool, so walking is good exercise for both of us. She gets a lot of of compliments when we're out and about, she likes that best of all.
  • Robin Judice

Thanks for your welcome note, Steve. I really like Turtle for your new little guy's name.
  • Great Basin Corgi's

Thanks for your comment on Emma's eyes! She went to California and is doing terrific! We love your pictures of Steve! Aren't Corgi's great!!! He will love Turtle! Let us know what name you pick.
  • Stephanie

Thanks for the comment on the pics of Maddie in her tank :) Your little corgis are adorable!
  • Lisa P from WV

I love your corgis! They are sooo photogenic! Corgis appear to love the camera...so does mine!
  • PuKi

Puki is doing fine this morning. Thanks for asking! She def. doesn't understand the concept of having the cone around her head because she's always running into the walls and funiture! It is pretty funny but once she sees us laughing we stop because she gives us that sad look were shes thinking..."why are u laughing at me, don't you know i hate this thing!" My poor baby! :(

I'll have to see if the toe nail clipping works with the cone, but it def. prevents her from nipping at us!

How are your adorable corgi's doing? Did you ever get Steve neutered?
  • Austin Guu

    8 weeks!
  • Katie

Your dogs look like characters! So did you rename Turtle as Scott?
  • Christine & Fargo

I've had him a month and things are going pretty good. He's a very good boy (for a corgi pup!).
  • Florence

Oh, your Corgi baby is too too cute !!!!!!
    Really adorable.....

Thank you for your kind comment on my page, Steve !
I'm going to try to find my way in MyCorgi.
  • Michael

The picture you have with Steve asleep with half of his body off of the dog bed is the best. My dog "mac" has that same bed though he never sleeps in it. lol
  • JENNY & COBY

other dogs are my cousins' dog ^^
  • Jayyo

Haha. I have been competing since 2005 but throwing since 1998.
I just added 2 pics of Joyful.
  • Reese

Thank you for your support... Reese has scored so many points it's crazy! =)
  • Shepdog

Oh! Sorry, sorry, I've been working a double all week because I had an employee out and was covering her shift...

Riley's wearing the small boots, actually. The X-small don't sit right along the top of his paw, and rub him. :) I hope that helps - I love those boots, and they work great!
  • Shepdog

Ha - yup, I bet the middle is differing for all Corgis, while the feet stay about the same! ;)

Oh! We ended up choosing #10 for the back of the shirts (the front pocket has the dog in collar logo that is the store's actual logo on our building, etc...) but we had them reduce the bottom font and the ball is now light blue! I get the printed shirts back Friday, so I'm really excited. Just in time for us to wear them to the big pet supply trade show down in Vegas, haha - at least we'll be able to find each other! ;)

It looks really sharp, and hopefully I can use the other ones for something else at some point. :D
  • Ne

Great little guys. Such great pictures of them together. My Merlyn doesn't like the ocean. I was hoping he would but he runs away from it.
  • Judy and Jason

    Hi Steve,
Your Turtle is so cute. He kinda looks like my JiBi. :) JiBi is named after my grandfather's dog. It doesn't really stand for anything. In Japanese, it means "the small one."
  • nirin

I like their eyes, so cute !!!!
  • Sir Riley of Pembroke

You have beautiful dogs! Thanks for all the positive feedback we need it!
  • Sir Riley of Pembroke

How are steve and turtle doing? My parents got a german shepherd puppy and I will be getting another corgi sometime in February! I am so excited!
  • Betty

Bear is doing better but still on dialysis. She is fighting for her life but it is looking up for her. Hopefully they will arrest the sick neighbor who did this soon. Thanks for asking and please keep her in your prayers.
  • Sky and Lyla

Thanks! Yes, April is going to be a crazy month, but I'm excited for the new house and the new puppy!!
  • Michael

Hi Steve and company. Thanks for the comments. Corgis are indeed great dogs - loyal and smart and at the same time mischievous. You probably already know about the dog beaches in Southern California. I've taken Mac to the Huntington Dog Beach. There are a couple pictures on my page and a link to more. Just in case you don't know, there's also a Corgi Huntington Beach Dog Park group that meets on Sundays. About 1/2 a dozen to a dozen dogs show up between 10AM-12PM to play together. They have a page on Mycorgi.com as well as Meetup.com.
  • Karen

Kailyn was born December 10, 2008, she turned 4 months last Friday. Like Turtle, Kailyn also enjoys watching shows that have animals. Last night we watched Marley and Me.
  • Christina, Clytie & Kyler

    your two are super cute!
  • Stephanie & Lola
