About My Corgi(s):: She is a fluffy corgi, 8 years old, a true corgi, sweet, loving, willful, sneaky, adorable, and spoiled. She wants to be alpha, but her mum is always on guard!.

She loves her tummy rubbed and to sit on daddy or mummy's lap, no matter if they are busy working at the computer....I told you, she is spoiled, but it is all fine with her mum and dad!

She has been in obedience classes all the way up to show obedience, but no titles (a new born baby came).

Kaley corgi loves agility and she and I hope to start competing with her next year.

Hi Sandra, Just wanted to let you know that Kaley's obedience(?) video is making the rounds of other dog groups. My sister is active in Airedale rescue, and she sent it to me from ATRA! They love it!

I did watch the obedience video. SO corgi! I went to Pem Nationals a few years ago and watched herding and Rally. There were several competitors in Rally who had runs similar to Kaley's. But since we were all corgi people we totally understood that sometimes a corgi just has to FRAP!

at least she left the ring to poo. Not all competitors do that. At one trial, to the owners mortification, one dog pooped in a tunnel! I've seen it all. My Taffy tends to stop for photo ops. Sometimes I'm convinced that she think agility is just a set up for pictures. I have a video of her on the pause table leaning to look around my husbands legs just so she can get max camera time. The judge was laughing her head off!

I don't know how to imbed videos or I'd do it. Watch "Taffy the Ham" on my page...

ha ha! Ya, I just looked at your videos with Kaley with her obedience and agility doing it her way! I keep thinking how much I really would like a corgi/collie/dog to play with and teach obedience and agility to them! You must have a fun time with her! I hope she'll get to the next level of agility and obedience. She sounds pretty confident in having fun all the time!

Did Kaley do well in the tournament? I hope she did! I'm rooting for her! :) I'm dying to see those videos! I cant wait, I'm expecting them to be cute like the other ones! Do you ever laugh when you watch those videos again? I would, they're so funny, with her running around and going down and up things! I just wish I knew what "Those things" are! :)

April- and I just saw this! Boy am I cyber impaired.... Yep Jinksy ate *everything* including wasabi. The only thing he would never ever touch (spat it out if he accidentally licked it) was parsley. He *hated* parsley. He'd get a plate to lick and I'd see little green dots on the plate- all the parsley left on the edges.... Jinks would eat Jalepeno, wasabi, fruit, pickles, *anything*. When he was a pup he tried to drink out of my cup of hot tea. I told him "no" (perfect opportunity to teach "no") He drank the hot tea- hopped around the room with a burnt tongue- came back to the cup- stared at it till it had cooled- and drank the whole thing! Jinksy was a sweetums but completely a chow hound. "treats" was his favorite word although he knew "breakfast, lunch and dinner" At 10:30 he would go to the fridge- coffee break time, at 12 noon he would stare at the stove- then at me- then at the stove- perfect shop steward- at 5 sharp one must stop and eat!

***tuesday news** okay, it has been a long time since i have been here, no real good excuse other than, soo many sites, so many blogs, so many photos i take daily, and yes, a 10 mo. old jake baby....gee, i just need more hours in a day...and kaley~corgi has to start writing more of her blogs with out MY HELP--if you know what i mean!

well, latest news, (baby starting to cry again--nap time, might have to leave here.....???) anyways, kaley~corgi and i are still doing the agility trials, and finally we are in class with a great teacher-----it only means, kc and i are starting to look like a team (after so many years of her free frapping in the show obed and agiity ring)---oo yes, she still does it but recall is much better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sooo come by here and read news and say hi to me...catch the videos i put here and catch flickr pics of her agility and etc!

oo yes, kaley~corgi finally got a good furminating yesterday...boy is that a great lil tool---no excuse, i had the tool for bout yr, never used it, and was just slave to the vacuum!

Actually I do not have any corgi friends in my neighborhood. I sometimes take Berger to a dog run so that he can freely play with other dogs without leash, but he doesn't like to leave me , and even bark at other dogs... whereas he likes people. It's a shame.

I am not much of a competitor. The little I did was AKC. I taught an "Introduction to Agility" class at our local dog club for several years. I also competed in our state dog agility club competition quite a few years ago. My "green" dog won 2nd overall for the 12 inch division. We trained lots and showed very little. I have some pals with corgis that do quite well. Have a great time with your girl. Builds a bond like not much else. She is darling! My newest addition is a fluff girl. Something just a little extra special about those fluffs.

Sorry, I got confused. There are so many organizations, with AKC, USDAA, NADAC, and CPE. Have fun anyway and you gals are looking really good. You'll have to start putting music to your videos like Chris does with the "Monty" videos.

Mei is actually short for Mei Mei. Hehe, it is Mandarin (but I'm Vietnamese). It means little sister. I think Cantonese people say Mui Mui instead? Originally I wanted to name her Xa Xiu Bao, but no one could pronounce it. Mei is much easier for people to say.

Kaley post cards would be really cute. Especially the ones you have of her flying after the ball or with Rani. =)

Wow you are one busy lady! I think you have my neighbor beat! She has 4 dogs, 3 small kids, 2 fish tanks and 1 husband! lol I love your pics of your Corgi!!! I haven't had the opportunity to see the videos yet but I will...it is 1:34am here and I am off to bed but I will check them out tomorrow...I am real interested in the agility training that you had her go through...there is nothing around here like that! I wish there was! She is such a beautiful corgi....sweet face!

I think I've caught all of Kaley-Corgi's vids. Love them. I especially love the pics and vids of Kaley with your parrot. Cracks me up. Mine would've eaten and spit up the feathers. Live for Kaley's blog, too. It's on my Google Reader so I get current updates. You guys rock!

Thanks for the note Sandra. Kaley looks like she has quite a personality! Beautiful. Roscoe does make me smile and laugh, but he doesn't really play with anything or do much. Feel bad for him. Our old lady Akita Penny doesn't do anything either so he's pretty much on his own. I'd love to get a playmate for him but not sure how he'd react. He does need a buddy though. Your site is really neat. Take care.

Oh my goodness, what haven't we gotten on ebay?! Corgi t-shirts, corgi postcards, corgi metal lawn sculptures, corgi wood decor for the wall, corgi jewelry, socks, on and on and on. I'm addicted to the dog, and anything to do with them! My son made me corgi shaped cut-out cinnamon ornaments, which were a real hit, and much appreciated. I looped them all together and made a garland for the bedroom in our motorhome, which we call the Corgi Doghouse on Wheels. They can do their laps while we go down the road, by just throwing a tennis ball to the rear of the coach. Cheeseburgers on birthdays,....I swear...it gets ridic after a while. Corgi mania !

I saw you and Kaylee on here had to laugh. You two are so cute. That Kaylee of yours is the dearest thing. I liked the picture of her with the flower around her face. She looked like she had the biggest smile. I love your bird too. I had a African Grey for over 17 years. She just died last year. We really miss her.
