About Me:: Hi, my name is Chris. I got my first Corgi 10 years ago after I lost my last Australian Shepherd. Wouldn't trade her for the world.

About My Corgi(s):: Whisper, you have to understand is not a d-o-g but a PRINCESS and she's fully aware of her lot in life! She herds, goes to horseshows and has friends all across the country. She likes to talk on the phone and visit with everyone. She's never met a stanger unless your a d-o-g.

Whisper's herding experience has just been at home and coming from natural born instinct. She taught our peekapoo to herd and also, started my sisters australian shepherd male that she bought for agility. She's still quite the athlete at her age but she still enjoys a good challenge (i.e, the fiberglass horse at the tack store - don't you people realize there is a horse running loose!)

My sister does the same thing. She brings her corgi to work, and then she babysits her boss's dog, which is a huge Bernese Mountain Dog. I'm sure Ofelia would love tater tots. Her favorite snack right now is watermelon.

I'm just struck by how similar their features are. I bet they have some common ancestors. I mean there are some photos that I'd almost swear were Taffy! Let's see if this picture comes through...

What struck me was their eyes. They have the same smile and the same eyes. I just posted Taffy's halloween pictures from last year. Look at them and compare it to picture #8 of Whisper. Very similar! I'm telling you, they have to be related!

Hi, Chris! So glad we've found each other! I'm truly amazed at how much Whisper and my Ladygirl look alike! The markings are so close, neither has a blaze, but both have those beautiful, loving, loyal, ready-to-please-you eyes! You're right, Whisper is not a "dog." She's a DOLL!

Whisper is a beautiful little girl. She reminds me of our oldest corgi Mollie. Mollie doesn't have quite the same look to her face though. I noticed you have her around horses so I give you one word of caution. The breeder we bought Mollie from has two three legged corgis. It seems that both of them (at seperate times) got backed over by horse trailers at horse shows. Poor babies!!!!

Thanks for the invite. We will actually be in Tulsa tomorrow for the Oklahoma Hunter/Jumper Association's annual year end awards banquet. Maybe our dogs will meet one day as we take ours horseshowing too. I think that princess attitude must be a corgi thing. Whisper is adorable!

Hi, Chris-Whisper is SOOO beautiful! Pippin says hi, too. She's a DIVA D-O-G...she thinks she's a human...I'm not sure she's wrong! Great herders, aren't they?! She loves little critters-kids, small dogs, new shoes (just for play, not for chew. And they must have feet in them)...LOL!
