About Me:: I live just outside Boston with my boyfriend and baby, Lola :) I work at a restaurant on the beach. During the summer we are always at the beach, or in New Hampshire at the summer house

About My Corgi(s):: Lola is going to be 3 on June 16th. She is my best friend, my baby, and my shadow. I don't know what I would do without her. Her favorite things to do outside are swim, play in the snow, and chase the birds at the beach. Inside she likes to cuddle under the blanket, rip up paper towel rolls, hide her toys and treats in the bed, and watch animal planet. She hates loud noises, the word "ready" ( I don't know why lol) , and the doorbell. I love taking naps with her, and the little noises she makes when shes sleeping. I also love the mornings when shes still tired and all she wants to do is snuggle, it's my favorite :)

My boyfriend added Benji to our family a couple days before Christmas because his friend didn't want the puppy anymore. I guess he didn't have time for a puppy and a baby so we took him in =) He is the craziest dog I have ever seen!! Lola is finally starting to get along with him, thankfully! Hmmm.. let's see, his favorite things are eating, pulling my hair, squeaking toys, and ripping stuff up. Benji hates outside, his harness, and toys that don't squeak. He runs around like crazy and I guess Lola is just a waaaaay more laid back dog, I never realized how silly a puppy is. Lola always wanted to be snuggled and this one won't stop for a second to be petted lol.

Yogi and Abby

We were afraid to get another dog too before. Yogi always had the attention on him, and spoiled rotten. He's used to having other dogs in the house, but never as a life companion. We took our chances and got a little girl. Yogi was mad at us at first. He wouldn't even listen. But after a couple of days, he started to really love Abby, that at daycare, he would scratch the door to where Abby was. Abby would also cry when she doesn't see Yogi. Yogi licks her face sometimes...it's awesome to look at. You should consider getting a friend for your lola.

that is so true!!! my lil puki knows when she has her "accidents" and i will try to tell her NO! but then she'll look at me and tilt her head to the side and wonder why im so mad...and thats when im like....arrgh ur too freaking cute

Yogi and Abby

Yeah it's a little hard when they get jealous. Yogi doesn't really get jealous. I think he knows we love him very much. I think you should really be careful on getting a new pup. We tried getting a different dog before, an american eskimo pup. They got along very very well at first, until later, they started fighting, and the eskimo finally retreated and was always downstairs, sleeping. When he's not sleeping, he's fighting with Yogi. Yogi always felt the need to hide his food, and they were very rough. The eskimo was very used to being the only dog, and when we had to share our love, he was very unhappy. So we gave him away. With Abby, though, Yogi knows he has to love her, and they've been getting along very well. Yogi always looks for Abby, and Abby cries when Yogi's not near her. Can't really tell if your baby will like another dog until a couple of weeks to a month. It's hard when you have to let go one.

I think Ein is a bit of a scaredy cat actually, I don't know why he loves taking baths but he doesn't like jumping in pools. i actually had to put him in there and tried playing with him, but he seems to love being wet and running around out of the water instead lol. No, i haven't been to the Philippines yet but my husband has, hes half Filipino with Japanese.

I think that I jinxed us by saying that it was hot and we needed rain. We got the rain now the dogs don't want to go out. I think they believe that they are going to be washed away.

Hi! It's o.k. that you don't drive. I know other people that do not/can't drive too! I am approx. 1 hour away depending on what side of Boston you are on. I live right next to Providence, RI. The next couple of weeks for me is going to be a little crazy because I am going back to school- teacher. Weekends are ok.

I was able to find it online with no problems. I think it would be a good idea to start her on it now if she is prone to injuring herself. I think it has helped my senior dogs remain comfortable much longer than without. The prices varies quite a bit so spend some time looking. Some places have great sales!

Thank you for your support. Its really hard watching an animal be so sick and not know what to do about it. Its was scary there for a while when the vet didn't know what was wrong with her but she is starting be normal again.

The pictures of Lola in the tub are so cute. Corgis have such a sweet disposition and its so hard to not get emotional over them.

Hello! We should definitely arrange a meet-up once Lulu can handle herself in the doggie parks ; ) There are some great ones right near us in the South End. There is Carlton Dog Park and Peter's Park Dog Run. Those are probably the two we'll take Lulu to the most, since they're so close. thanks for commenting on my blog re kaleys agility wkend...yes, it takes patience but it is fun---deal it can be so frustrating cuz kc loves to frap and she is fast even when she does not..so i have to be soooo rt. on target w/her... she keeps me moving!

I had the same fears when the one was tested for it and the others were exposed to it and because I am a breeder and had a female pregnant at the time I was so nervous. Treat the one who has it...be very diligent on your cleaning and monitor the activity of the infected dog w/the others and you should be fine. What I hate the most is you can't see Giardia and sometimes symptoms don't always occur right away. So to be safe the best remedy is to have stool cultures done. He may give you treatment for the other dog but I don't like to over treat dogs if not necessary since this can cause system upset and more issues in the long run. This is also why my vet sends stool cultures out to a lab for more thorough testing. I pay about $25 a stool culture. I hope this does help you. Are you still wanting the articles I have? I read through the comments on the post and are very good advice and pretty much sums it up. Relax and you should be okay.

Great..you are well on your way and your more then welcome. You should of seen me when my vet called to give me the news. I knew about it..but when its slapped on you all of a sudden stupidity over comes you. LOL

Lola and Benji are both very cute! Do you have any advice on weight control? Molly is currently on light food and only gets fed 1/2 cup twice daily. She also gets 4 walks a day and no table food. Her thyroid's been tested and nothing seems wrong with it. Do have any other suggestions we could try? My boyfriend and I feel like we've tried everything.

ya codie is insane he barks constantly and we can't get him to stop and he tries to tear up everything in sight and usually succeeds haha... we need to take him to training because instead of food aggression he has toy aggression and actually bites. We can't figure out where he gets it from.
