I have a dedicated love for the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. These mighty dogs in their little packages are highly intelligent, sturdy, loyal and quite entertaining. I breed the Corgi for ideal standards and great personalities. All my dogs live in the house w/me and are a part of the family.
All my Low Rider's have Champion pedigree's and go threw testing requirements to promote a healthy sound Corgi. I look for smooth movement, flat toplines, great expression, thick sturdy bone, and most importantly..MIND! My dogs get the utmost of care and love and expect the same from any puppy buyers. All my Low Rider's are fed Eukanuba and Sentinel given monthly. My puppies are raised in the home w/my family and are socialized several times a day. I have an AKC Registered Veterinarian who I have a wonderful relationship w/and handles all of the care on my Low Rider adults and pups. Puppies have their nails trimmed every week w/dewormings starting at 2 wks of age and every other wk. following the initial deworming along w/vaccinations at 6 wks before going to their new homes at 8 wks of age. All puppies are sold on a Limited Registration unless references are provided and I feel your worthy of an Open Registration. Contracts per agreement will be signed before releasing said dog. I will allow my studs to service a very selective few outside females upon my evaluation of said females and a health certificate from a veterinarian. I have acquired a Kennel License for my county which allows the county and city to come unannounced to inspect my kennel, and of course AKC. I have also acquired a Vendor's License which makes me pay taxes on my dogs. As a breeder, I feel it is my duty to educate any new owner and be there for the life of any puppy I produce and place.
Just stopped by to see updates and puppy pictures!! I have the puppy bug since I am moving in two weeks and I cannot take Algy with me, so I will have an empty house! He will stay with my mom and dad where he has lived for the past 10 years - I think it would be mean to make him move from the only home he has ever known. The babies are so cute! I can't imagine the excitement at your house!! Maybe someday you'll let me have a corgi of my own from your family!
Algy is so bonded to my father it is not funny. Since he is retired, they spend ALL their time together now. So he'll be happy - but I'll be lonely! I'm getting a house only about 3 miles away though, so it's all good I suppose. Those puppy pictures still make me want a puppy, but I will know when I am ready! I just love your pictures!!!!
thankyou for the warm welcome

Love your site...You are so creative...and the music...Wow...What CD is it? Thanks for adding another bright spot to my day. As soon as I learn how to put pictures on the web site, I will put Merry and Sammy out for the group to see how wonderful they both are. Thank-you for your welcome. Marion
Thank you so very much for the information about Nuno Lupi....I will certainly be ordering his music...I do want to compliment you on the completeness of your web site...I will be going back to it often...there is so much information on it....I am located near Richmond Va....and often can be found at the shows near us....I no longer show...but have been know to help those showing....holding dogs....etc. I have made some great friends and do so love my corgis. Thanks again Wendy....Marion Hebert
We moved to Wyoming, Our five children were involved in many activities, so showing went by the wayside. I go to shows now and help friends, but haven't decided to show again. I have two corgis...Merry and Sammy, both 8 years old..not related. I love to spend time with them..they go everywhere with me.
How long have you been involved with corgis? Marion
Timer is jealous of my husband getting any attention from me. Sadie is jealous of Timer getting any attention from anyone. In fact, she is starting to get mean to him. She doesn't even want him in the room with me at times. Any suggestions? Because of the age difference, I do not want her to hurt him. He is my baby, too.
Dear Wendt, Thank you so much for the kind welcome. I have missed Pippi so much and I am so grateful to have found out about this My Corgi web site.
It gives me an outlet to vent my emotional attachment and deep love for this dog. My Mother has just had hospice called in and eventually I will get another Corgi.
I will have to thrive surreptiousaly until then, on hearing of all of you guys Corgi's lives! I AM considering in two weeks flying out to Las Vegas, and driving over to St. George, Utah to stay with a friend to go hiking, and I will try to convince her to go to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah with me to volunteer for a few days and see the beauty of the place!
Please keep in touch because I love hearing from all of you other Corgi lovers!
Kind Regards, Merrie Whitlock
Thank you for the welcome!! The picture is soo cute-- I love the tail! Your babes are soooo cute!! I love your profile picture-- they all look so cheery. I love how corgis smile : )
We wish you the best birthday ever! You give others so much joy with happy healhty & beautiful pups our hope is that comes back to you ten fold and then some. Sami says woof woof woof woof translated (;Happy birthday to you :0)! LATER!
Thanks.....I now have spoken to my friend out in St. George, Utah.... and I will be flying out there on the 21st. She is one of the first person's I knew that had owned a Corgi....and I took her advice and bought one.
She is going through some family trials of her own right now......so I am going to tell her how cool Best Friends is.......and I am sure we will plan a trip over there. (since it is just 90 miles away!)
I need to learn how to use these web sites better .....as I am not a computer technological genius at 50. I will try harder so I can take pictures out there and post them on the web site.
Thanks for the ideas and incentive. I would LOVE to share the Best Friends experience with everyone.....because they are so awesome and unbelievably caring!
Best wishes, Merrie Whitlock
You're very welcome! No, I did not draw it. It was just a picture I found online and loved so I saved it. I thought it was perfect for Corgi lover birthdays. :)
Funny when I started that thread I thought food was the least of my worries...lol, nothing wrong with a good education! I will take you up on uyour offer to call. What is the best time to reach you? Your life is very busy!
Goodness, I thought you had Corgis for ever....How many dogs do you have now?
I have actually had the priviledge to love 4 Corgis and 1 mixed breed corgi....They have all been delightful with the exception of one female...she eventually had to be put down because she literally went into a frenzy and no one could handle her....I think that she had been badly mistreated prior to my having her....even when we first got her she was a biter and we worked long and hard to stop that...then one day she really flipped out...took her to the vet, but he said it was time to let her rest. Very hard to do...One of the corgis was a fluffy male...everyone loved him and he, like the two I have now traveled everywhere with me....At that time I was showing horses, so he had lots of time to play at horseshows with other corgis...The mixed breed corgi thought she was a big dog and loved to swim in the creek that ran on our property...She would get in the water, swim out to the middle, and not let any other dogs cross the creek....It was just too funny....Needless to say I miss all of them....We also owned a Giant Schnauzer....She passed away at age 14...One of the best dogs we have every had. Now I am happy to have Merry and Sammy....they are a blast. Love your emails....Marion
Oh my goodness, I just went and looked at the 5 wk pictures. HOW ADORABLE!!!! They sure to grow fast. I can't wait to see the next set of photos. I don't know how you get your dogs to say so still for pictures, but they are great shots. Ella will either fall asleep watching the camera or want to lick it, either way I get some odd picts.
