About My Corgi(s):: His name is Benzo. We named him after our Mercedes Benz because he is lowered. Benzo wants to meet new friends around the bay area and northern california. We also added an addition to our family. Her name is Queenie and she is only 11 weeks old. She is a red and white Welsh Pembroke Corgi. We are so happy that she is finally here. We will both shower them all the love and care.

Hi and thanks for responding. We also will be out of the country (UK) until 12-29. We are hoping Dorothy will cooperate and not go into season until we return! Benzo looks so much like our older corgi, Eddie & Dot's uncle and we think Benzo & Dot (as we call her) woould make beautiful puppies. Dot is AKC certified and we know the mothers line 4 generations back. She comes from a great line and all the puppies have been healthy with no defects. We would LOVE to get another Corgi, but it's just impossible in our apartment. We have plenty of room for Frodo to run around, but I'm pretty sure two pups would be bumping heads all day long. Once we're in a more ideal living situation, we are fully planning to get Frodo a playmate!

Nice, so do you have two and are getting a third or you have one and are getting a second? I love the steps up to the bed, Molly has a ramp for my bed. Instead of a second dog I send Molly to doggie day care three times a week.

Hi, I know exactly what you mean about being an only pup and being lonely. Molly goes to doggie day care three times a week to play with all of her doggie buddies and get exercise. I know she likes going because when we pull up in the car she is ready to go crashing through the window so I don't feel at all bad leaving her for the day and when she gets home she sleeps like a rock.

As for the Corgi meetup are you referring to the one at Shoreline Park? We haven't been to that one yet but Molly's buddy Emi goes every month. If there are others I'd love to hear abotu them.

Benzo looks almost exactly like my Duke! Your profile says you breed corgis. How do you know if your corgi is right for breeding? I love my corgi a lot (he has an awesome temperament), and wouldn't mind seeing little Dukey's running around, but he drags his toes when he walks and runs (causing them to bleed). Is this a trait that would need to be worried about passing on?

Hi Michelle and Benzo - our apologies for not replying sooner! We've been swamped at work, but now that things are slowing down a bit, we'd love to meet up sometime! We meet corgis around downtown/midtown sac often enough. We've met at least three other corgis in the last six months, just walking around midtown.

Which dog park do you go to? We like the Land Park one... but to be honest, we haven't tried any other.
