Name: Waffle
Registered name: Corizma Better Together, CGC
Color: Dark Red/White
Birthday: June 20, 2009
I got Waffle May 16, 2010 from Terri and Mike New of Corizma corgis. He is my best bro and is masterfully skilled at eating, whining, and taking up valuable space on the bed and/or couch. But, he is even more masterfully skilled at being a beautiful ballerina, and he learns as fast as lightning. He's one of the most sensitive, compassionate animals I have had the pleasure of meeting. He is mine, and I feel like the luckiest person in the world because of that. :9
Welcome TBE-Waffle and Rachael! It's a GREAT name, and Madoc will agree because he loves a bite of a Saturday morning waffle. I hope you have your puppy of your dreams soon!
Welcome!!!! Rachael: A logo would be fabulous! My daughter Kate just graduated and has two rescued corgis. They now live in North Carolina where Kate is working on her Master's in nutrition. My dogs loved walking on the VT drill field and soaking up lovies. It was their mission whenever we visited!! All the best, Nan
Have you ever played a video game called Tail Concerto for the PS1? It's about dog people and cat people (literally half cat or dog and half human) learning to get along while facing a common enemy. The reason I'm asking is because the main dog character's name is Waffle. I always thought that name was cute!
Anyway, I don't have a corgi yet either, but I'm waiting for the right time to finally get one. Good luck with your planning and stuff!
Just think, if I was able to get one, you will be able to soon as well! It seems like Wynstan is already making a huge impact in my life, I hope just thinking of your Waffle brings happiness into your heart.
I just hope he can help me improve my die rolls in D&D with his presence!
You were just like me! always wanting a corgi...obsessed..doing the corgi things without a corgi. I wanted one for yrs, but was waiting till I could convince myself i was capable.
A few weeks ago I saw a pic on a breeders website..i knew he was the one! I have had his name picked out for 3 yrs. and have had his collar on my stuffed corgi under my "cation corgis" sign lol.
I am a "poor college student" but i had a jar where i put all my coins. I cashed that jar today and will be picking up my dream dog tomorrow:) I dont regret my decision at all!
I hope you find your perfect match and bring him home with out any hesitation!
Sounds like you're doing a good job of figuring out what you want, and that's important (else you're likely to get something else), but don't get so fixated on your specific goals and expectations that they blind you to the unexpected.
Waffle might not turn out to be a male red puppy. Might turn out to be an adult Female tri. A pancake, maybe. Comrades come in all colors.
congratulations on finding Waffle, he looks so happy and precious. I hope the semester goes by quickly for you! Will you be able to visit him during the semester?
Thankfully he is! I am ready for him to be full grown and I can't wait to see his beautiful red headed tri. The next time you visit Waffle, please snap some more photos!
I am sure i could put butter anywhere on Wynstan and he would find a way to eat it, such is the way of a corgi. You will find out soon enough. If only I could mock the sound of food hitting a stainless steel bowl, because if I did, I would use it for emergency recall
Thanks! He gets called Abner rather frequently, actually, although it's pronounced "Ahhh-berrr". He still answers. So long as someone will pet him, he doesn't care what they call him lol. Love your pic of Waffle---that's so cute--how did you do it?
I always have been into art, I've done about three paintings (I'm 10 so my mum buys me acrylic) And i sketched Goldie and it looked exactly like her! But then when i started to paint the sketch was ruined! You can't paint with acrylic so now I'm saving up for oil. I'm now looking for that free trial I'M ON A SEARCH!!! hehehe
Thanks for the comment on Sully's Birthday video. It is actually a dog safe birthday cake (well biscuit). There is a store at the Mall of America that makes dog treats with real ingredients. So, that was a Carob (dog safe chocolate) birthday cake.
You should draw little corgi notecards. I'd buy em! Just wanted to say that I love your drawings of the corgis. I hope Waffle is feeling spunky real soon!
Hi there, I saw the drawing you did of Grady and I'm so jealous. Does it take you long to make those? If you get bored would you do one of Finnigan? Any pose you'd like. I think it would be fun to put it on something.
So when do you finally get to bring Waffle home? He's a cutie. :)
The drawing is really cute Rachel! You got his legs, tail and coloring perfectly! The only critique I might give is that his one eye could maybe use some brown pigment so it doesn't look like he has a blue eye and a white eye and he's ears could maybe be a bit bigger. Small details though. I think you did a great job overall and I don't think it took long, or maybe I just forgot how long ago we had talked about it. :)
Do you draw on paper then scan the pics or do you draw on the computer?
