About My Corgi(s):: Penny is a red/white Pembroke. She was born January 22, 2008. She is all business when it comes to playing fetch, so don't get in her way! Her favorite treat is a peanut butter rawhide from Petco.

Jet is a tri-colored Pembroke. He was born March 3, 2009. His hobbies include whining until he gets his belly rubbed, and digging in my flower beds. His favorite treat is any rawhide that Penny has gotten soggy and discarded.

Believe it or not but we got some good news today. The breeder we've been talking to has a litter due very soon next 7-10 days. We found out that we are #2 on the list for getting a puppy! We wouldn't be able to get it until mid April or so but that would be just about right. There are still times when my heart aches but then that to some degree will always be. We have room in our hearts for a new corgi

Honey needs the life jacket cause she loves to jump in the deep end. Which of course the compact corgi sinks deep before bobbing back up!! Sooo scary to a corgi mom watching :( But she never seemed troubled by it cause she does it all the time!

Thanks for the birthday wishes! It is a "doggie cake" that I made from searching the recipe on the internet(and verifying with the vet/compare to known toxins list). I have always wanted to make a birthday cake for a puppy and now I finally have the chance! She loved the yogurt best though!

Thanks! you could also try a soccer ball if Penny keeps popping the rubber ones. Micah is no longer allowed to play soccer with my nephew Rico because she keeps picking the ball up in her mouth and hiding it under the closest vehicle she can get to. It's hilarious to watch them play though, it's just too cute.

I actually had to join the Disney Movie Club to get "Little Dog Lost" on DVD (it's a club exclusive), but I found a few on ebay as well. It's a really cute movie!

It was very interesting and a test since roxy has never been around her own kind and it was a way to start socializing her. She did very well and did excellent in the crowd of dogs. Maybe next yr. Penny is so cute!

We met at the Paws on the Park - there's pictures of me and Guinness in your album. He was the pushy one that doesn't know how get along with all dogs - that's why we weren't at the dog park today. He misses out for sure.
I also have a Speed3 - it's a black 07 GT and has corgi stickers on the back so say hi if you see us around! My sister lives in Pearland which is why I was there, but I'm over in Rosenberg and Houston on the weekdays.

Guinness grew up as a travelling show dog and had his pack of buddies. We've just kinda accepted him as being very selective about who he likes and work around it. Now he's the only dog.

Mario & Peach's little tub of water is really the bottom of a cage we used for bunnys we had a years ago. the husband didn't wanna buy a kids pool and I thought well heck thats deep enough and they can both park their butts in there.

aww thanks :) we got ein's banana costume surprisingly at target. the best part is that when we picked it out, there was a pic of a corgi modeling it. my mum just cut out an ad for me from toys r us that had a corgi modeling a hot dog costume :) they're kinda forced to wear elongated costumes. lol.

They sure do know all the spots! My daughter use to have a bookshelve over the heating vent in her room. The bottom shelve was all stuffed cats. Cody and Winston would take turns knocking the cats off and laying on the shelve, they looked like stuffed animals!

Gwynnie's sunglasses are called (what else?) Doggles. More of a photo prop than anything else, but I do try to make them wear them if we're on snow in bright sun for any length of time.

Hi, Jan! We try to go every Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting, and stay about 45 minutes to an hour. I can send you a note when we know what time we're going, in case you are able to meet up. We love meeting other corgis (and their owners, of course!).
