About My Corgi(s):
Name: Lance
Breed: Cardigan Welsh Corgi(Blue Merle)
Birthday: October 30, 2005.
Current Age: 8 1/2
RIP 5-3-14

Was an only dog for 5 years, but not anymore! Learning about sharing, I hear sharing is good. :) I have corgi buddies already so hopefully it wont be too hard to share with my brother.

Lance is a pure breed cardigan corgi, at the moment he may appear like he is not because his ears are floppy. Lance is dealing with auto immune issues and vasculitis of the ears which affects the blood flow in his ears.

Name: Tucker
Breed: Red and White Pembroke. Was rescued from the
shelter March 6, 2011
Birthday: October 12, 2007
Current Age: 6

Tucker is a sweetheart, seems quite comfy here. :) So glad to be out of the shelter. I was so sweet the first time I met my potential owners I gave them lots of corgi kisses, I stole their hearts. <3
I have:
Both Pembroke and Cardigan

  • Elizabeth

Natalie, thank you for the birthday wish. :) Yes, we are Leos united. :) I have a feeling we are about the same age, too. (Me 43.)

Hope all is well with you and your family - dogs, too. By the way, I just LOVE Tucker. One day (long way away), I think I need to rescue a pemmie, too.

  • Sam Tsang

How did it look on the camera? I would try deleting and re-uploading and see.
  • Teresa Gilpin

Love your pics. Your babies are just so gorgeous!

Natalie, Can you believe it was elective surgery. I have had a bunion removed and a pin inserted to correct a cross-over toe deformity. The stitches came out on Wednesday and the pin will come out on September 21st. I cannot wait to get off the crutches and into a cute pair of shoes. Thanks for your concern. I have been glad to hear/read that Lance is getting better a little at a time. He's pretty cute with his Snoopy ears too. Have a good Labor Day weekend!
  • Joanna, Rainy and Calvin

Thanks guys! I finally started dialysis, so in a few months I should be feeling back to normal. Or as much as I can get. I hope Lance is starting to feel more normal too. Tucker better be taking good care of him, and sharing the cookies!!
  • Terry S.

Thanks for leaving a comment! I am new to all this. My pup's name is SophieGrace. She comes home to live with me Sept 16th. Terry

    Thanks Nat,

She is a little cutie:) Wiley was always afraid of children that's why when my daughter had her 1st baby Wiley came back...Wiley would just get sooooo nervous especially when Peyton would cry...we felt so sorry for Wiley and I'm sure that you feel that way also...it must be so horrible for the dogs and they can't tell us why they feel this way. Maybe Tucker has experience or he's just very adaptable.

    Thanks for the pic!

Oh Natalie....don't ever feel that way. We are here to support others when they are going through things! It's not fun to go through things and helps with others support...you can message me anytime you want:) Good luck! keep posting also....other people may be having similar problems...it helps to know others can use advice also!

Thanks so much Natalie, its so hard to look into his sweet big brown eyes. It seems that tho his legs don't function, everything above seems fine. He will still roll over to try and move and inch or so and wiggle his stubby. And he still smiles. I know all his toes are dislocated and his rear legs are just gone now from the auto immune disease. Its so terrible. I know i don't want him to suffer and be in such pain. Been taking more pictures of him lately, outside by the flowers, and i let him lay outside as much as possible. We have a lake behind us with ducks in them. He loves to sit out there and watch them. Its getting the courage to make that dreadful decision and going thru woth it. No matter what, it will be very difficult, and i will hold him to the very end.
  • Rebecca

Hi--The antibotics seem to be helping, its looking better to. He'll try real hard to get up and walk a few steps and then plop back down. He's trying real hard tho. Thanks for asking about him. How is Lance doin..
  • Stacy M

    Thanks! I love your page!
  • Melinda and Watson

Watson and I thank you for the warm welcome! Your Lance has some stunning eyes. What a lovely pair of pooches you have!
  • David, Sons & Thia the Corgi

Thanks for the welcome. I glad I had no idea about the hair or I might have missed out on a wonderful dog but by the time I found out she could shed half her mass in hair when she blows her coat I wouldn’t have any other dog. I love the photos especially the one in the leaf pile.

  • Beth

Huh, I thought we were already friends too! Thanks for rectifying that. :-)
  • Lillie's Mommie

  • Carly & Ein

Thanks for the welcome! Ein is about four years old and we adopted him when he was about 8 months old.

  • Alison Prasavath

I'm glad you enjoy Noodles pictures. He sure is a keeper in my eyes. I wish we lived closer because I would love to meet you and the boys in person. I

'm glad Lance is feeling a bit better so he can play with Tucker.

What are your boys going to be for Halloween? Noodles already has his hot dog costume and he loves it (because there is no hat this year). Talk to you later...

  • Carly & Ein

Tucker and Lance are both very cute!
  • Shayla Delaunay

Awesome! I just uploaded a few pictures last night!
  • Alison Prasavath

Noodles is going to be a hot dog this year, but I haven't taken any pictures yet. I need to do that soon before it starts raining because I want him next to the pumpkins by the front door. He loves this costume because there is no hat with it. I can't wait to see pictures of Lance and Tucker.

Tucker and Noodles do look very similar...adorable! (Lance is as well! Then again, Lance would be my dream dog.)

  • Gracie

Hi hi! Thanks for the warm welcome! <3 PoPo and me (Gracie)
  • Joanna, Rainy and Calvin

Just popping by to say Hi (it would also be easy to write 'pooping', which I almost did...)! I hope Lance is feeling better...how IS he feeling lately? Hugs to Tucker, of course! I hope you guys are enjoying the nice fall weather! You probably like cider and donuts as much as we do!
  • Rebecca

Thanks, it was fun taking them. It looks like you had a nice trip to Saugatuck, very nice place. Hope the grandmas are ok.
  • Suzi, Zeus & Valentine

Happy Birthday Beautiful Lance hope you get alot of treats and pets today :)
  • Ludi

Thank you, and yes - blue merles are pretty darn gorgeous! My husband and I are really drawn to Lance's AMAZING coloration. He looks so unique!
  • Jane Christensen

Happy Birthday Lance:) My brother's birthday is today also! Hope you had a great day!
  • Chris and Andrew

Happy Birthday Lance! Did you get many yummy things yesterday? Always be happy.
  • John Wolff

Yup, I collected birthday #59 10-1-11. I don't take them for granted anymore.

How's Lance doing...he had an ear thing, right?

  • Carly & Finn

Thank you so much! Your lil guys are adorable!! How old are they?
  • Teresa Kannard

He is with Jean Rogers who has owned him for years. I believe she is still showing him as a veteran at some shows.
  • Teresa Kannard

I do not have any pictures currently other then these.
  • Teresa Kannard

If I hear of him going to another show I will let you know.

  • Sandra Raigoza

Hi! And Thank you, your babies are beautiful!!
  • Kimberly Colette Arvold

Thank you for the kind greetings! I love your beautiful photos! I'm new to this site, it will take me a while to figure it all out, but I hope my page turns out half as nice as yours :)

    Blessings

  • Kimberly Colette Arvold

Thank you :) I LOVE photography... although an amateur, I still love it. I have a few videos of my pup, but I always feel they are boring to most people ;) The doggie in the snow is my friends dog... they are great friends, gal pals...lol

Going to Colorado Springs to see my son and grandson on Friday (it's been two years!), so I'm excited and anxious at the same time. Allie and I haven't been separated for more than 24hrs. oofdah, I'm going to have separation anxiety;) Allie is staying with her best friend, so I know she will be in good hands! It will be a long 11 days without her. She spent 4 months in Germany with me when I went to visit my daughter. She did great on the plane ride... but I won't ever do it again, just don't trust the Airlines... I've learned a lot since then.

When I return, I will work on my page :)

sorry, I have not been on here in a while, re: Auto Immunie diseases/corgi's...I am not sure if it is that common with the breed; just one of those unexplainable ilness'. Our Izzie and one other dog are the only AIHA dogs our vet sees...crazy...however, nothing to mess with, we almost lost Izzie twice, when she was just a year old. Be very aware, check gums daily for color and go to vet right away if something is weird. We are on year 4, and she is hanging in there!

  • Courtney and Webley <3

LOVE all your photos! Your corgis look like total sweethearts-obviously! :)

  • Courtney and Webley <3

    P.S.--thanks for the welcome!

  • Lucy & Ricky (Wendy/Jack )

Me too! I'm still in shock. He was very perseverant! How are your guys doing? Wishing you holiday cheer & a merry xmas, happy 2012. Time flies!

  • Renee and Boots

Thanks, we're excited to be here!

  • Alison Prasavath

Merry Christmas to you and your family! This will be a fun Christmas watching Tucker open his presents for the first time. Noodles attempted to open one of his presents last night and now it is sitting on top of the counter. He just couldn't wait until Christmas morning to open it (smile). Merry Christmas!

  • Emilie

    Thanks for the welcome!

  • Rebecca

Natalie, Lance and Tucker,--We wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a VERY HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR!!
