Hey everyone on MyCorgi.

I just want to thank you for giving me great advice, but in my first blog I want to tell you about my dog.

My dog is 50% golden retriver 40% saint bernard and 10% German shepord. My family just says that she is a german saint retriver. Ha. She is now 1 1/2 years old and has the most loving family she could ask for. She lives in a single family, ranch style home in Connecticut. At 10:03am on March 29, 2008, Kahlua & Tiffany said…: It's not ok for her to pull you with the leash in her mouth, no. she is trying to show dominance. i don't think it is a problem for her to have the leash in her mouth, but you want to keep her to your side, or just behind you at all times. i keep dogs on a shorter leash on walks so i have more control. since kobi is already pretty big, i would suggest no more than 1 to 2 feet of give on her leash. you'll find you have a lot more control any time she pulls. hope that helps!
