Thank you for your compliments on Sidney. We love his tail too. Docking is now banned in many countries but is still going strong here in the US; the breeder groups are very powerful. The old story was that the  ranchers were taxed based on the length of their animals, so they docked the tails to pay less tax. Other stories tell that it was to prevent the cattle from injuring the dogs by stepping on the tails. Yet very few corgis are actually used for herding anymore, and besides, Cardigan corgis get to keep their tails. Now the breeders just say "it's the breed standard" and don't discuss further. I hope that one day that docking will at least become optional, and that is a breeder chooses to not dock they are not ostracized by the breeder community.

I love your pictures!  Your furbabies are adorable I especially love the one where they are all lined up on the couch!!!   Keep posting your great pictures!  (I am not very computer savvy either. I just do the best I can.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't)
