UPDATE: Jake had his surgery on Tuesday the 27th and had a complete tear in the CCL as well as a blown meniscus so it had to be removed. Dr. guarantees us he can get back to his old running days but…Continue

Hi Jill! It's great to hear from you! What kind of problems are you having? I know you had hurt your back, but didn't know about your knees. That sucks! I don't know why everyone says life gets better as you get older....seems my body falls apart the older I get!
How is Jake doing? Seanna is doing great. She loved Kansas, and ran off two pounds the two weeks we were there. I wish we had more areas to run her around here so I can keep it off, but there's quite a drive to get there. We have her on a special diet though now for the struvite crystals in her urine, and we have to keep people food and treats down to only 5% of her daily intake....so hopefully she'll stay trim. She's not happy though...I hate not being able to give her anything. Even though I know it's for the best...
Are you guys taking a trip this year? I think we're going to Florida to visit my husbands mom and dad, and maybe take a trip to the Bahamas for a couple of days. I really need a vacation...badly. This year has been very stressful!!!!
Cool! We will make a plan. If I can ever find the time I want to make a Connecticut Corgi group but I want to design a logo (that is where the time factor comes in). Hopefully soon! Hope all is well with you and Jake. M & Q
Hey Jake and Jill! Just checking in to see how everything is going and to see if you guys survived all the snow this winter. With spring coming maybe we can plan a Connecticut corgi meet up. Talk to you soon!

Hi Jill & Jake!
Sorry for the delay in responding to your kind wishes, things were a little crazy over the holidays! I hope you both enjoyed the holidays and that 2011 will be a great your for you guys! How was your cruise? We need to make a plan to get the boys together for a play date sometime in the new year. I totally understand what you mean about Jake and other dogs, Quincy can be "fresh" too. We have been working on it... I am sure Jake and Quincy will work it out. I found out there is a new dog park near the water in Stonington if you care to venture a little further than bluff point. We have not gone there yet but my neighbors daughter loves it and Quincy will love there is place he can go swimming! Maybe we can plan a play date for the spring once the snow stops flying! I also have no objections driving up your way either. Hope this message finds the two of you well! Your pals, Michelle & Quincy ^,,^
Wish Jake was doing better :( hopefully in time....
Have a great Thanksgiving and Birthday and enjoy your cruise!
Talk to you soon
