We adopted Josie - our Corgi-Pomeranian mix from a shelter in the summer of 2008. She's approximately 3 years old and is a very sweet and friendly dog with a heart of gold. We had wanted to adopt a dog for years, particularly a Corgi. We waited and waited and were very patient. We saw on the news that a local Shelter had gotten in 30 dogs from an over-burdened breeder and they were mostly Corgis! So we went and wanted EVERY dog they had, but fell in love with our little Josie.
