Midsummer's Day 2008, a heavy snow year. Gwynnie was here, same date 3 years earlier, with no snow at all (see our 2nd-to-last photo). That's Glacier Peak, oldest and most remote of the Washington Cascade volcanoes; Al hiked all around it Sept. 2010. The vertical pipe once held the azimuth table for the old USFS fire lookout.

Well, these are some super pics. Have you come here to CO to check out our peaks? Your lil' buddy looks like a traveling dog and would probably love springtime hiking here too.
