Ah, there we go. Chickens back in the pen, none the worse for wear.

Riley's actually pretty darn good at herding chickens, and they're not afraid of him (as you can see) when he's not asking them to hustle it back into the pen.

But, if they don't listen, all bets are off. :)

*grins* Yup, well, they dodged out the door of the coop, the little ninja chickens!

Actually, what he'll do is face off with them, and then if they don't turn back, he'll charge after them and herd them back into the pen. He's good at cutting corners and keeping them moving so they don't have time to plot more mayhem before they get back into the pen. ;)

Pretty neat, never taught him to do it, but if I say, "Put them away, Riley!" he'll get all of them back into the pen within a few minutes. If I do it, well... I start panting, puffing, and thinking about how chicken tenders sound mighty good. They can avoid me and cluck out a laugh or two, but darned if they can avoid Sheriff Corgster. *grin*
