Oh he does. Lol. Its something new every day with him. And He is definately the Alpha Male. I haven't got him neutered YET...but definately going to. My Pomeranian tries to be the Alpha but he is no match. Jakoby is twice his size. But Poms also have VERY stubborn personalities and he has a Napoleon Complex! So they tend to fight. They have what I would call a Love Hate relationship. Because they run around and love to play together, but they also like to show each other who is boss. I love both of them dearly and they are both GREAT dogs. They definately always keep me on my toes.

He may be an alpha male.  My Randy is and he is also very smart.  He knows what you want him to do but he wants to do what he wants to do.  He is very dominant so I had him neutered at age 24 weeks.  He still has a strong personality but I don't think that he is as strong willed as he would have been.  I have gotten him a mixbreed female (maybe Corgi/Basset) companion.  He is 10.5 mo. old and She is 2 - 3 years.  She appreciates getting out of the rescue system and have a home again.  I think I could train her and I bet he would want to do the same things.  Anyway, alpha animals may be very spirited but may be very bright and cute.

I bet Jakoby will challenge you in many ways but I bet it will still be fun.

Corgis are my favorite breed of dog, and I spent YEARS trying to find one of my own...that I could actually afford. I really wanted a pembroke, because or their cute little butts and stubby tails. lol. But When I found Jakoby, I just feel in love. He is 1/2 pembroke 1/2 cardigan...but he looks more cardigan and he has the long tail. He is 4 months old and hyper as all get out! He still has alot to learn, but he is very smart. Hes just a little stubborn. lol.

Thanks. Corgis are so wonderful. I wonder if owners of other breeds are a dog crazy
as Corgi owners. I just love looking at the pictures of the new little ones. My boy
is 10.5 months and a big boy but still a silly young boy.
