After extensive blood tests we determined that he had no toxins in his system, does not have Addison's Disease, and does not have Myasthenia Gravis......so it's very likely the megaesophagus is just esophagitis and will return to normal size. The biggest concern in the meantime is developing aspiration pneumonia. But, as the X-Rays indicate, his lungs are clear.
