I thought Reese looked like she was part Corgi. : ) She's really, really cute. We rescued a beagle foxhound two years ago who was about six months old when she first came to us. There are no shelters in our area so it's really difficult to find good homesfor the homeless pets that show up at our place. We own an RV Park and campground an hour north of Chattanooga and we were hoping a nice family would want her but we ended up keeping her and we're so glad we did. She's a great dog and we love her dearly. We have absolutely no idea where she came from or how long she'd been wandering around homeless. When we dropped her off to be spayed I know she thought we were abandoning her. I felt so bad, but we had to do it. When we came back to pick her up she was SO HAPPY ! Recently we "fostered" a little black and white puppy prior to Labor Day and the sweetest family with two boys who were 8 and 10 decided to take her home. I've kept in touch with them through Facebook. I love seeing the pictures they post of her and the comments from all their friends about their "new" dog. Another family that was camping over Labor Day and given me $25 towards getting her spayed so I gave it to the new family and they said they absolutely would be getting her spayed. I wish every homeless pet that wandered through our area could end up in such a great home.

@ Joyce. I think I mostly stayed home playing with him for 3 months and then realized that I needed to get out more.  He hated the doggie doors and spent quite a bit of time attacking them.  I have a cute video of that on the site.  He seemed lonely for another dog.  I spent months looking for a rescue corgi and just couldn't get one so I took Reese, who was a little older and part corgi.  He was thrilled with her but she had multiple diseases and it took 9 months to get her healthy enough to really play.  I have had her a year now and she is much healthier but has had at least 1 litter of pups to doesn't want to do some of the nonsense that he does but she does play with him.  Tugging is a favorite of both.

It's so cute when they lay on their backs and push their little hind paws up against something.  Classic Corgi !
