Buck Mt.,8573, from the west. Al and I repeated this trip Sept/2011 and climbed the summit (above her right ear, not the wicked horn). The entire landscape around here is blanketed with deep banks of pumice (the brown stuff, frothy lava that floats in water) from Glacier Peak, a volcano 5+ miles behind the camera. This is called the Louis Creek High Route, fairly remote, a long ways from any trail. No big deal for a corgi, but it doesn't look like we're in Wales anymore. We spent Night 1 in the col behind her.

Do they enjoy wearing the glasses or do you have to bribe them?
